How cute are these earrings?? Add some edgy, boho flair to your fall outfits with this DIY tassel earrings. This DIY tutorial comes from the creative people at Honestly WTF.
For this project, you will need:
-- Bunka cord (at least 75 feet)
-- 2 corrugated brass beads 5/8″
-- 2 corrugated brass caps 1/2″
-- 2 eyepins
-- 2 earwires
-- E6000 (craft glue)
-- Wire clippers
You can find all of these items at a craft store.
Prepare the thread
Cut the cord in many different pieces, all of similar length. Then, fold the cords in half over your thumb, as the picture shows.
Secure the cord collection
Take another piece of cord and tie it in the middle of the folded cord. Then, cut off the excess cord off.
Attach the bead cap
Use the E6000 glue to attach the bead cap to the top of the tassel. Thread the eyepin through the bottom of the bead cap. Dab glue at the top of the tassel and then put the bead cap over the glue. Let the glue completely dry.
Make a circle in the wire
Use the pliers to form a small circle at the top of the bead cap, as shown in the picture. Cut off any excess wire.
Attach the earwires
Attach the earwires to the bead cap, as shown in the picture. Then, cut off the extra cord, so that the tassel is all the same length.
