Looking for a soundtrack for your next Halloween party? Look no further than this playlist!
Get away from the traditional tracks and create a cooler atmosphere. Maybe your skeletons will dance too.

The Kill / 30 Seconds to Mars

This song is chilling. And the video? Come on! It's in direct reference to The Shining, one of my favorite movies of all time. And Emo Jared Leto is like...the best Jared Leto right?
This is an old favorite that will get your party going in no time. Get away from the typical spooky tracks and into something a bit cooler.

This Is Halloween / Panic! At The Disco

This band has done a lot of Halloween-y covers, but this one is by far my favorite. It's a new spin on the track from Nightmare Before Christmas that we all love. If the Marilyn Manson version is too much for you, I'd choose this one. It's a bit lighter and poppier...more party ready.

Twin Skeletons (Hotel in NYC) / Fall Out Boy

This track from the band's newest album "American Beauty / American Psycho" has Halloween written all over it. It's a totally eerie track that'll keep the party rocking without all the cliches. It's got a really cool, driving back beat too so expect people to dance and

Vampires Will Never Hurt You / My Chemical Romance

This early early MCR track will have you crawling in your skin. It's all about vampires, duh. And it's the perfect song to get your party going. It's got that rock and roll feel that gets people moving, but won't overwhelm the party's atmosphere.
The creepy music video could suit a big TV screen too, if you're into playing music through the TV like my friends and I did in college.

Ghost / The Academy Is...

I've been on a recent kick with this old band...and damn it. They're still good. This track is creepy. It's like a home invasion in song form. It's got a shuffling chorus that can get the room going and will freak out people who are really listening to the lyrics. Nothing is better than that right?

Skulls / Misfits

The Misfits are punk rock legends, but don't let that scare you away from playing them during your party. Their songs are Halloween gold and you'll get some hardcore cred from fans if you play this classic track. Skulls is a scary song. Totally perfect for a late night zombie jam.

Which track gives you the heebie jeebies?

Only 17 more days until Halloween!!!!!!!
awe that is badass! haha sounds like fuuuun ^.^@TessStevens
Yes @littlemaryk one of my favorite musical moments was in college when my band covered this at our "Blood Ball" concert. It was for Halloween :)
Ah, the kill. It's been awhile.
Yeah I've heard it. Reminds me of David Bowie meets Iggy Pop.
@glostick have you heard his solo album!? I love it!
