Don't wait another second to get healthy!

Your journey to health doesn't have to be something you put off. It starts now. Here are 5 easy healthy choices you can make right now!

I choose to believe that I am valuable.

Recognize your own worth. You are someone special, with so much to give to the world. You are loved. You are strong. You can do anything you set your mind to.

I choose to eat a piece of fruit instead of processed sugary crap next time I crave something sweet.

You can actually reprogram your body this way, to crave healthy food instead of candy, chocolate, etc. Reach for a crisp apple, a yummy banana, or a succulent pear next time a sugar craving hits.

I choose to banish my next negative thought, and think positive instead.

Dwelling on the negatives doesn't lead to change. Positive thinking and believing yourself does. Next time your brain whispers, "I can't do this," tell it to SHUSH and firmly say, "I CAN and WILL do this!"

I choose to move my body today.

Get up. Do 20 jumping jacks. 10 crunches. Put on your shoes and go for a short walk. Now come back. Was that so hard?

I choose to put my emotional health first.

Make the active choice right now to stop overextending yourself. Stop putting so much pressure on yourself to be perfect. It's okay to make mistakes – give yourself permission to do so. That's how we learn and improve. Take a deep breath, hold for 3 seconds, and exhale through your mouth. Let go of the things that are tensing up your shoulders and stressing you out. It's all going to be okay.

@mchlyang No problem! I wish you luck :) it's a hard switch in the beginning, but pretty soon your body adapts and starts craving fruit instead of the usual bad stuff!
