Trevor Cahill is no longer the Trevor Cahill we knew back in his Oakland A's days.
But he was near perfect when he was called up to pitch in the eighth inning of Game 3 of the NLDS between the Chicago Cubs and the St. Louis Cardinals.
Cahill pitched 0.2 innings, eight pitches, and striking both batters out.

But something else, other than his stellar performance, caught people's attention.

The Chicago Cubs pitcher was wearing LA Dodgers socks.

So what is going on here?

1. Those are his lucky socks. He's had them since his little league days.

2. He secretly wants to be a Dodger.

3. He wants to crush the Dodgers if the Cubs end up playing them in the NLCS.

4. I have no fxxking clue.

For me personally, it's number four.
@shannonl5 That is the greatest response Ive heard so far haha
I'm gonna guess #1. Professional athletes are a superstitious bunch!!
HAHAHAHA @shannonl5 I bet that's it!! XD So wise. <3 Wait @mchlyang they can fine him for this... so maybe he did it on purpose to make his managers mad? Is it possible he's doing it out of spite for some reason??
option number 5, he has a crush on the dodgers. all of them
@mchlyang That's all I could think! I'd be so mad!! lol
