Where are all my food stylists out there?! Who isn't in love with the composition of this beautiful photo of this perfect-for-brunch cocktail, a riff on the Pink Lady.
The cocktail was crafted by bartender, Brian Means and Lara Ferroni took the snapshot.
What it's made of: pisco, lemon, applejack, simple syrup, grenadine and egg white.
This is the most perfect cocktail that doesn't include orange juice! So while the rest of your friends (and patrons at the restaurant), are drowning in bottomless mimosas, you can look all chic and sophisticated with your Pink Lady.
1 1/2 ounces dry gin
1/2 ounce applejack
Juice of 1/2 a lemon
4 dashes grenadine (to taste)
1 egg white (will suffice for two drinks)
Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake very hard, without ice, for at least 10 seconds, to help emulsify the egg white. Fill shaker with ice and shake again for at least 10 seconds, then strain into chilled cocktail glass.
