You all know how much I adore tote bags and completely diy-ing them to make them unique, cute and all your own. I found this Spooky Spider tote bag idea from Creative Carmella, that I LOVE!
Let's get started:
Small Canvas Tote Bag (8 x 12 inches)
Black fabric paint
Stencil (or a free image online)
Find and trace your image from an online source if you don't already have a cute image like this spider. Make sure the shiny side of the freezer paper is down and not face up.
Cut out the image on the freezer paper.
Position the freezer paper--shiny side down--onto the tote bag.
Gently iron the freezer paper to the fabric.
Paint the stencil directly onto the tote fabric.
Peel up the freezer paper stencil and let it dry.
Now you have a super cute and long-lasting tote bag that the kids are going to love all Halloween season long!
