Kanye West shocked the world a month ago when he declared that he would be running for president in 2020.
While it was considered a spur of the moment, emotional "joke" by some, many are taking West serious. One of the most important people to take his announcement in stride is our current POTUS Barack Obama.
During the Democratic National Committee fundraiser yesterday, Obama used the event as a platform to drop some knowledge about being POTUS.
Obama kept it real and told it like it is:
"First of all, you got to spend a lot of time dealing with some strange characters who behave like they’re on a reality TV show… Second important tip: Saying that you have a beautiful dark twisted fantasy? That’s what’s known as off-message in politics. You can’t say something like that. A lot of people have lost their congressional seats saying things like that… And number three: Do you really think that this country is going to elect a black guy from the South Side of Chicago with a funny name to be president? That’s cray."
Gotta love Obama man. I wish we could get another 4 years out of him in office.

"....And number three: Do you really think that this country is going to elect a black guy from the South Side of Chicago with a funny name to be president? That’s cray.” even if you don’t like his politics @Straightshooter haha he’s got humor at least, you got to give him.
@nicolejb yes I can give him that, but if being a comedian is what he wanted to be then he should have done so because his policies are looking really dangerous tight now. NOW I DID NOT SUPPORT INVADING IRAQ but in bushes last year and his first 2 years Iraq was stable. Now yes people did die but not on the level we see now. President Obama and his policies caused Iraq to crumble and force the rise of Isis. There is a reason why in military srrategy if you invade a nation, when you leave YOU ALWAYS LEAVE A SUBSTANCIAL standing force so as a vacuum like what we saw happen in Iraq doesnt happen. Now he's pulled a chamberlain by signing a "peace treaty" with Iran who openly declares death to america as hitler did to other nations when he was in power and yet one of the stipulations was that Iran could not continue developing inter continental missles and yet their still doing it AND theyre GOING TO INSPECT THEMSELVES!? THEY ARE!? The people who have cheated on EVERY DEAL since th 70's will police themselves???? come on dude
It sounds like you are very frustrated with his politics involved in the war. @Straightshooter I agree, that ISIS is a real threat, a very real and scary force. Personally, I think Obama made some mistakes and the Iran deal is a huge risk, but we don’t know how effective it will be until we see the results. The U.S. is also send guards to help police as well (at least to my understanding)
@nicolejb honestly im beyond frustrated with this administration at this point. Its like a bad movie i just cant wait to see end. When he first ran for office I didnt like him, flat out. I dint like his policies he stood for or his message of wanting to "FUNDAMENTALLY CHANGE AMERICA" But he won so I said okay wtf I'll give him a shot. Well, i stood by silently for 2 years speaking up only when i though something didnt sound right, but generally silent. but by the end of his first term and now into his second term he's shown me only one thing and that is that he is not competent enough to be commander in chief. He went around the world and BOWED to other leaders, something NO OTHER PRESIDENT EVER DID, and "apologized for America as if we needed to feel sorry for anything outside of our nation. He has constantly inserted himself into high profile racial cases with stupid comments that have made race relations worse. (I wish we could take the neo-nazis, black panters, etc. and hurl them into space) He has turned his back on our allies and restored relations with forigen dictators who obsess and MURDER there own people. He absolutely refuses to call terrorism what it truly is nut instead calls it "work place violence". The list just keep going on and on and he still has another year to go. So yes I am very frustrated with this man and his policies. I know that no bodynis going to agree 100% with people but I haven't found anything yet I agree with. I was raised during the Clinton administration and was told, as well as researched what kind of policies he had and while I may not like him, or bush, I found policies from their administrations that I could agree with. This man just needs to go. Im sorry but I cant stand him. And he's not even the first black president! He's the first BI-RACIAL president and yet he keeps toting that around to. I mean if Ben Carson or Kanye became president, THEN THEY would be the first black president, not obama.
Hahaha, did Obama just refer to the Kardashian family as 'strange characters'?
