So, I thought it would be a good idea to put up a few good anime horror shows to watch since Halloween is just around the corner. Enjoy!
Synopsis: Yuki Amano must particitipate in a Battle Royale/Hunger Games style game in which twelve players much kill each other for the title of God of Space and Time.
Deadman Wonderland (My only problem with this anime is they never finished it)
Synopsis: Ganta is the only survivor after a mysterious man in red slaughters a classroom full of teenagers. He's framed for the carnage, sentenced to die, and locked away in the most twisted prison ever built: Deadman Wonderland. And then it gets worse.
At Deadman Wonderland, convicts are forced into brutal deathmatches for the amusement of the masses, the cheers of the crowd drowning out the screams of the dismembered. Even when Ganta befriends Shiro, an unusual female inmate, his dark fate crushes all hope—until he discovers the strange ability to wield his spilled blood as a weapon. Ganta learns his new skill might be related to the murderous man in red and uncovers disturbing secrets that could expose those who stole his freedom. He's determined to see justice served—but first he'll have to fight for his life in a prison that holds a million ways to die.
Who doesn't love the Crimson F*cker!? If you don't understand my reference, you should also watch the unabridged version of Hellsing...Hilllllaarrrriiioousss! But, if you want dark and creepy and bloody, then watch the regular Hellsing!
Synopsis: Hellsing, a secret organization of the British government, have long been battling supernatural threats to keep the people safe from creatures of the night. The current leader, Integra Wingates Hellsing controls her own personal army to eliminate the undead beings, but even her highly trained soldiers pale in comparison to her most trusted vampire exterminator, a man by the name of Alucard, who is actually a powerful vampire himself. Along with Integra's mysterious butler and Alucard's new vampire minion, Seras Victoria, The Hellsing Organization must face not only regular ghouls and vampires, but a rivaling secret organization from the Vatican, and Millennium, an enigmatic group of madmen spawned by a certain war over 50 years ago..
Attack on Titan
Yes, Attack on Titan is horror with all that blood and guts and everyone dying.....Sometimes, it's hard to watch.
Synopsis: The story of Attack on Titan centers around the adventures of Eren Yeager, his foster sister, Mikasa Ackerman, and their childhood friend, Armin Arlert. After the wall which protects their hometown of Shinganshina is breached by Titans, Eren watches in horror as one of them eats his mother. Vowing to kill all the Titans, Eren enlists in the military, along with his friends.
It is by far my favorite anime. It's so taboo and psychologically terrifying, but I can't stop watching.
Synopsis: Tokyo has become a cruel and merciless city—a place where vicious creatures called “ghouls” exist alongside humans. The citizens of this once great metropolis live in constant fear of these bloodthirsty savages and their thirst for human flesh. However, the greatest threat these ghouls pose is their dangerous ability to masquerade as humans and blend in with society.
Based on the best-selling supernatural horror manga by Sui Ishida, Tokyo Ghoul follows Ken Kaneki, a shy, bookish college student, who is instantly drawn to Rize Kamishiro, an avid reader like himself. However, Rize is not exactly who she seems, and this unfortunate meeting pushes Kaneki into the dark depths of the ghouls' inhuman world. In a twist of fate, Kaneki is saved by the enigmatic waitress Touka Kirishima, and thus begins his new, secret life as a half-ghoul/half-human who must find a way to integrate into both societies.
I think the video speaks for itself. I loved it myself. Wouldn't we all love that one chance to send someone to hell? lol...unfortunately, it comes at a price.
I'd tell you to watch other horror anime, but since I have not seen them, I can't recommend them. Still, look them up. You might find something interesting!
