There are A LOT of granola bride and grooms out there that LOVE LOVE LOVE the great outdoors. As you may or may not know, I am not the type of guy to rough it and go camping. And while glamping is a thing nowadays, it's still camping, which just isn't me.
However, if you're getting married and want to celebrate nature and bring that into your Big Day, then I encourage you to take note of this really simple and elegant S'mores station that allowed guests to make their own!
How cool is that?! That would be a great addition to a sweet table. And if you were cutting costs, you could replace the sweet table spread with a chic do-it-yourself vignette like this. It totally works!
If you want to serve s'mores that are already predone, here is Paula Deen's version from the Food Network:
whole graham crackers
bag mini marshmallows
Hershey's Milk Chocolate Bars, split into 2
Split graham cracker into 2 halves. On top of graham cracker squares place mini-marshmallows. Place under broiler for a few seconds until toasty. Remove and place 1/2 of a Hershey bar on top of marshmallow. The heat from the marshmallow will melt the chocolate bar. Place other 1/2 of graham cracker on top. Press lightly to flatten marshmallows. These may be made ahead and wrapped in plastic wrap until ready to heat and eat.
