We were wondering when you'd come back, Adele.
For the first time in four years, Adele is back with a sneak peak of what is presumably a song from her highly anticipated album, 25. Not only was Adele the artist with the top-selling album of the year in 2011 and 2012, but she also won a Grammy, Golden Globe, and Academy Award for her song "Skyfall" that was featured in the James Bond movie, Skyfall. She was on top of the world as "Someone Like You" and "Rumor Has It" echoed through the airwaves across the world. And then Adele disappeared.
But then something random happened, Adele showed up on television screens in the UK this week exciting fans on both sides of the pond.
The commercial uttered, "Hello, it's me / I was wondering if after all these years / you'd like to meet to go over everything / they say that time's supposed to heal ya / but I ain't done much healing ..."
It's been years since Adele has released an album. She had troubles with her voice following her last successful album, 21. Everyone knows that as soon as Adele drops her album, she'll be number one on every music chart known to man. Of course, no one is sure what her music will be about but if it's anything like the sneak preview, we can easily assume it'll follow the trend of heartbreak. Ed Sheeran said the music is supposedly really good, Lady Gaga and Pharrell Williams may have collaborations, and Kelly Clarkson is claiming that Adele's album is country music inspired. Interesting.
The album is slated to debut sometime in November.
