Who are your *ultimate* OTPs?

Tell me the source of your feels...

If you don't know what an OTP is, turn back now before you are consumed. Having an OTP will ruin your life. Sleep will no longer have meaning for you. You will constantly be dehydrated because of your tears. It will hurt and you will only want more. Seriously, turn back while you still can.

What Was Your First Fandom?
There's nothing like your first. Vingle is awesome because it feels like no matter how obscure my fandom is, there's always someone else here who's into it! So let's take a trip down nostalgia lane and find out how it all began... The Superwholock fandom Did you dive headfirst into the wonderful wild world of Supernatural, Doctor Who, or Sherlock? I was away from fandom for a while, but some amazing Sherlock fic brought me back in. And you all know how that went! Now it's all fanfiction all the time here! Anime fandom I know there are a lot of you out there! The first fic I ever read was anime (and trust me, you don't want to know about the fic that I *wrote*. It was a monstrosity). Lord of the Rings fandom If you speak Elvish, you have my respect. The Marvel/DC fandom Superhero movies seem like they're here to stay. Whether it was Marvel or DC, Daredevil or the Dark Knight, you're gonna have a lot of fun in the coming years! And of course I'll be right there with you. Star Wars fandom I'm so happy for you all. I know Sherlockians have been called the fandom that waited... but you all really waited, didn't you? The Fandom that Lives Harry Potter is definitely a global fandom, and we haven't seen the likes of it before or since. The first fandom Star Trek inspired fandom as we know it today. The fic, the cons, the culture... to use an inappropriate quote "I was alone and I owe you so much". WAS THERE A FANDOM I MISSED??? If so please don't think I love you any less! In fact I probably want to know all about it. Share your first fandom experience!!! Were you a livejournaler in the days of Cassie Clare? Did you get sucked into Tumblr during Mishagate? Or were you one of the old school fans subscribing to zines in the mail? Or hey, is Vingle the first place you've let yourself fan the freak out? That would be awesome too. Let's get excited about our first fandoms!!!
Nocturnal Creature Jun Myeon: Epilogue
NCJM Epilogue [For future reference: Present Day chapters in Regular type; Past/Memory chapters in BOLD ITALIC; P.O.V - REGULAR ITALIC] Note: Posting as I go... Kyung looked back at the two pairs of red glowing eyes as they approached. When Aria was standing next to Kyung, he took her hand, lacing his fingers between hers, watching streams of red run down her cheeks.  "Are you sure?" He asked. Moments ago, she told him to let them go so he didn't stop Jun Myeon. He didn't like seeing her like this, he didn't like how he felt. He felt a part of himself slipping away the further Jun Myeon and Selene got. He squeezed her hand tighter, looking for strength in her face. "It's what he wants. Who am I to deny him time with his child." Aria said, wiping away her tears of blood. She looked at him, at his sad eyes. She touched his chin, her thumb smoothing over his round cheek.  "Are you okay?" Xiumin asked, knowing how it must be tearing him apart.  "I have to follow her. Every part of me says, I need to follow. I feel like my insides are being torn apart…" Kyung cried, grabbing at his chest, looking pleadingly at Aria, "어머니…" He barely whispered, the words escaping his perfectly round quivering lips. "Go, explain it to him, I am sure he'll understand." Aria said.  Kyung hugged her, hugged Xiumin and ran as far as he could to catch up to them.  Xiumin walked up behind Aria, slipped his arms around her neck, he nudged her head a little with his.  "Are you going to be okay?" He asked.  Aria looked sad, "if he comes back, then he comes back… maybe we weren't meant to be together." She sighed, her shoulders and head slumped a bit. "My little one is gone, who knows when I'll see her again…" Xiumin hugged her tightly. "Forgive me" he whispered into her ear. A curious look flashed across her face, then she felt a sting in her neck as his teeth sank into her. He too strong, she couldn't move, he had always been there strongest. He drank and he drank until her limp body was hanging almost lifeless in his arms. Why, she thought as her eyes closed. Xiumin picked her up over his shoulder. "While Jun Myeon is off playing daddy, you and I, my dear have unfinished business." Up into the sky he flew, he looked to the horizon at the coming twilight before he headed away into the dark. Knowing that one day Jun Myeon will come for her. Sherlock is Back (in the Victorian Era)
Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat's Sherlock series has become somewhat of an International sensation. By adapting the classic stories into the world we live in today, Gatiss and Moffat successfully reintroduced Sherlock Holmes to a new generation. And among some online communities it's become somewhat of a joke to always wonder when the next season/series will be coming out. With both Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman finding work within the Marvel Universe it sometimes feels like they actors won't have the time to act in a new series. But that doesn't mean we have to wait (too) long for more Sherlock. It looks like we'll be seeing this version Sherlock soon-ish, even though it's a little bit different this time around... And by different I mean in a Victorian Era setting. Which is, well, you know, the same thing but without all the text message words popping up and internetting. Either way though, I'm pretty excited about this Sherlock special. There's something extremely tense about this trailer and that's where part of my excitement comes from. I don't know if it's just me or if I need to watch it a couple more times but it doesn't seem like there is as much humor in this one-shot than there is in the proper series. But I'm okay with this. Part of me wonders if their characters are going to be different than the present-day Sherlock and Watson and how this story fits into the lore of the world. My (uneducated) guess is that it probably doesn't and is just a fun, little side story for the fans. Even though there isn't a definitive release date, the special is coming soon and let's hope it premieres before 2016.
Proof That Emma Watson Is The Most Perfect Starlet Role Model
We all know our little Hermione Granger; a pushy, intelligent, know-it-all who is 100% the reason Harry was able to defeat Voldemort. So how could we think that the actress who played our favorite hero could be anything less then amazing? Since filming has wrapped up Emma Watson has used her star power for good, becoming a perfect role model for young girls and boys, fighting for gender equality, helping create the He ForShe campaign, and even speaking at the U.N. How very Hermione of her. So here is just a few of her many perfect quotes that are undeniable evidence that she is one of the most amazing female role models of our generation. One of the greatest things about Harry Potter was it taught girls that they do not have to wait to be saved. Emma Watson brings this idea into reality by believing that girls can and should be warriors! I will fight till my last breath that Hermione is the only reason Voldemort didn't make a come back. Sometimes it is really hard to believe in yourself when everyone feels the need to chime in with their opinions. Emma reminds us that you will never please everyone so you might as well please yourself. Magazines drive me nuts! Photoshop coupled with the celebs huge bank account which can be used for plastic surgery touch ups and designer clothes makes it impossible for girls to compare. Having a role model that is comfortable in their skin makes it easier for other people to find that same comfort. Sometimes girls need to be reminded to cut ourselves some slack. When we expect to look like the fake pictures on magazines its hard not to be disappointed. Emma's version of sexy doesn't involve micro minis and crop tops. She believes that less is more and if you dress in what makes you comfortable then everyone will see how beautiful you look. Its a refreshing outlook on sexy for those girls who love sweaters and jeans. Have confidence in yourself and Dare to be Different! Just because you aren't into getting drunk every weekend or Orange is the New Black, doesn't make you a loser. Like what you like, its a waste of your time to pretend to be something you're not. In a world where its all about looks, the smart quitter girls sometimes feel pushed to the side. Don't act dumb just because you think that it'll land you the guy. Because pretending he's right all the time will get old really quick. Plus you deserve better. Just thank you! I hate when people try too talk about feminism when they don't even know the real definition. And Emma (like Hermione) presents her points perfectly. She is articulate and well prepared. Feminism is too often considered a "female" issue. Emma Watson includes everyone in the fight for equality, which is brilliant because isolating half of the population will not work for anyone. You are bloody brilliant Emma Watson. Hermione would be so proud (and a tad bit jealous).
5 Struggles Every Shipper Has
Whatever your fandom, the struggle is real. We all know these feels. We might fight in ship wars against each other, we might accidentally insult someone's OTP or be totally confused by each others' obsessions... But at the end of the day fans need to stick together. Because if you ship, eventually you're going to run into these problems. And you'll need someone to commiserate with. 1. You can never find that perfect fic Whether your OTP is the current fandom favorite or an obscure couple only five other people have ever heard of, it can feel like an impossible task to find the *perfect* fic. Sure, you'll read (and love) yet ANOTHER coffee shop au full of tropes you know like the back of your hand, but you'll be craving something more for the rest of your shipper life. And don't even talk to be about that unfinished WIP I've been checking for the past three years. 2. Your Ship > Your Sleep Schedule When is the last time you went to bed instead of staying up late reading fanfiction? Does it feel like never? Because it feels like never to me. You forgo silly mortal needs like sleep for more important things like digging up more images of your OTP, beta-ing just one more chapter, or rolling around in feels. And speaking of feels... 3. EVERYTHING gives you feels Every song on the radio? Written for your OTP. Every time you order coffee? You get the same order as your favorite character. Literally everything anyone says? Your shipper brain will find a way to react to it and you will be overwhelmed by feels. It's a constant barrage and there is no escape. 4. The world doesn't get you And vise-versa. Shippers tend to create our own special language, and we start to speak it exclusively. I can absolutely tell you what "ao3 mcu a:aou abo bdsm ot3 hs au pwp" means, but I have no idea what the Pythagorean theorem is. Look at our lives, look at our choices. (And before you ask, you know you'd read that fic, don't lie). 5. You've got a family for life The shipper family is one of the most welcoming, creative, beautiful groups of people I've ever encountered. There's so much love in this community. We scream and cry and FEEL like the world is ending... and we're all in it together. Whatever your ship, you're always welcome among us. You've always got a home. ... there's nothing like a weird Harry Potter gif to break up the feels parade. Let's show some pride shippers! Anime, Superwholock, HP, Trek, Marvel... How much do you relate to this?
Two Dangerous Ch.6
Who: Reader x Monsta Woo ( Kim Young Woo) x Christian Yu What: Smut/ SPY AU Story: Just because I'm telling you this story, doesn't mean I'm alive at the end. Chapter Six The next morning I made my way back to Han's seoul to talk to Code. Christian and Woo called me last night asking where I was. I ended up staying with Rick and John while I looked through the list of politicians John had mapped up for me. We all were doing our research, the part so necessary but so tedious. We all hated it but we were able to get the list narrowed down from forty five people to twenty two. Rick would join me later at the underground where I knew Sungbin liked to go to eat. A lot of politicians met up at the place to have meetings and I had already checked his schedule to see when he was going, thanks to John. I also faked a call to the assistant of the man that was supposed to be seeing him and told him I was his on call secretary and that the dinner meeting tonight was cancelled. I loved the fact that all of his favorite dishes were recorded; I had the perfect idea to make sure I got what I wanted. Rick was excited because he was going to be my sniper and the fact that the underground had private rooms made it all the better. The underground was sort of a fine dinning club; the club's real name was Plaza but it was nicknamed the underground because of all the shady deals that went on in the private rooms. It was super exclusive to get into and John was helping me to get my pass as a server in the restaurant so that I could get in. Of course once I was in, I was covering up my face and making my way to his room. I knew I'd have to at least pay off someone, so me keeping money from my crooked days made that a lot easier. I walked into Code's office and I saw him hard at work despite being stabbed in his shoulders. It was clear he was having trouble though, I felt bad deep down. I never wanted to hurt him but rules were always in place. Changmo was the one to teach me that, those who didn't follow the rules caused problems and those that caused problems had to either be punished or killed. Code was just lucky he was in a position where he wasn't supposed to be killed. Although, that didn't mean people wouldn't eventually try. I stepped further into his office, closing the door behind me and he looked up at me. He sighed and looked like he wanted to know what he did now. I took a seat on the arm of the chair that sat in front of his desk. I noticed the bloodied gauze in his trash can and the half emptied vodka bottle by the window. His wounds must've been stitched up the same way his bullet wound from the White Fangs me was. He leaned back in his chair to look at me and seemed to relax which must've given his shoulders some relief. "A second visit within twenty four hours, to what do I owe the pleasure?" He said. "I need you to get some things set in place for me." "Somethings? Sounds like you're back in the game. Did you take sides with Dong gab?" "Taking sides isn't my thing. Whoever I work for has my allegiance so long as they are loyal to me. Why do you think I changed my mind about Changmo?" "Because you got scared." He joked. I shot him a glare and he laughed. It was good to know that he could still be in such high spirits even after I had done what I had done. We were still friends though, I supposed he didn't care much that I had to do what I had to do. Fear wasn't what made me leave though, although there might of been something deep down inside of me that did fear Changmo. Admitting even a little fear would be problematic but at some point you either feared Changmo or you hated him, there wasn't much of an in between. Remember, I never loved Changmo we just took advantage of the fact that we were the opposite sex and extremely turned on by the violence. "Anyway," I said moving past his comment. He smiled as I continued," I had the idea to give Dong gab more power over the other gangs. It would place him on top again but that requires your place to remain neutral ground." "So what do you want me to do?" "Amp up security. Change the rules, no weapons allowed. Han's Seoul will officially be considered a no war zone." He laughed like that was ridiculous. "How do you think that will go down?" "Well if you're the only one in here with weapons and you hire people that check your visitors thoroughly it will go over well. People will have a problem in the beginning but something we've both learned from Changmo is that when rules are set in place they're meant to be followed and if they're not-" "You're punished or you die." "Exactly." I said. He sighed like agreeing to this was a big decision for him. If he was looking to get out then it might've been a big decision but I knew Code was comfortable where he was. He would get a little more authority than he already had but that also meant he had to put in more effort to maintain his rules. Code wasn't lazy and he didn't shy from violence but if he didn't have to be apart of it he was happier. Maybe the decision was big enough for him but if he considered the benefits behind it then he would understand that Han's Seoul was the center of keeping peace between the gangs. "How do you suppose I start this?" He asked. "You need to wait until Changmo is dead for one, then you need to send out a very formal invitation to all the gangs. Everyone has their territory marked up but with the death of Changmo, his gang will be in disarray and they need to move fast to either dismantle the group or to work with them. Get them to work together but make sure Changmo's legacy doesn't exist any more." "That's a large task. Do you really know what you're asking me?" "I know exactly what I'm asking and if I didn't think you couldn't handle it I wouldn't have suggested you do it. I'm going to tell Dong gab to speak with you, you're not to keep a thing secret from me Changmo," I stood up to head for the door, "I'd really hate it if you made me kill you." "That would make two of us." Even if he couldn't see it, I smiled. He called my name before I walked out and I looked back at him. "When this all ends--where will you be?" "What do you mean?" "You miss it, don't you? Deep down, this life was always meant for you. I can already tell how much you've reverted back to your old self. When you first came here, you went easy on me-" "I ran out of time." "No. You do the most damage possible with the time you have. There are two halves of you, both very dangerous but one more deadly than the other. Roo is a killer, an adrenaline junkie maybe but definitely a killer. The rapid transition you've made into your old self is almost complete, I doubt you can revert back to the life you were living when you finally catch up with Changmo." I turned to face him more. I felt like he was challenging me and I wanted to argue against him but I felt on some level he was right. After all, I had been having those same feelings recently. I was cunning enough to ambush Dong gab's facility with only the three of us and I was already setting up a new wave of the mob's empire. I was digging myself deeper into my past than I originally wanted and with every memory of killing Dong gab's soldiers and torturing Code I could taste the blood in my mouth like a lioness that had just caught her prey. I didn't feel like a monster; I felt like a huntress. The thought of seeing Changmo again was thrilling as well but it was almost a terrifying thrill, something deep inside of me was trying to pull me back like I had reigns. Something wanted me to stop, to let Dong gab have the kill. If I did that, then I could return to my life with Young Woo and Christian. I was in a situation where I wanted my cake and eat it too. I wanted the rush, the thrill, that amazing intoxication from this life but I wanted Christian and Woo. Christian wanted me to come back to them. Did Woo already suspect that I would revert back to my the old self? Facing Changmo again might be the straw that broke the camel's back. If I did get to kill him, I wondered if I would truly be able to enjoy his death or if I would have to do it fast enough that I would be unsatisfied by it. If I knew anything about myself it would be that if I was left unsatisfied I was going to do everything I could to remedy that factor. My eyes shifted to the ground for a moment and I leaned up against the door frame. I couldn't afford to linger at Han's Seol just in case I was seen. My face was covered and so was my tattoo but I still didn't want to take the risk of being seen again. "Why don't you just come back home Roo?" He asked. "Because Roo is dead," I said looking up at him, "and this isn't my home." I think it was fair to state I was in a bit of denial. Not just that but I was also a little annoyed about the realization that had been placed on me. I did like killing. I liked violence. I liked it far more than I let myself admit or realize. I had shocked Christian because of it. Did that mean my life was destined to stay this way? How did a good kid from a good family become such a trouble maker? I allowed myself to wander down such a dark path and I held no true interest in freeing myself. Was I just lying to myself this entire time? Woo and Christian couldn't live with me if I were to do this; if I stayed as dangerous as I was before, if I lived this life of crime and chaos they wouldn't be able to stand it. Two lives were on the line at this point: Yong Roo and Y/N Jackson. I was afraid of not knowing exactly who would survive in the end. I stopped by the house to take a shower and change so that I could get back to John and Rick. Christian was there working on his computer when I showed up. He jumped up from his seat throwing his computer on the couch and he came over to hug me. His hand ran down the back of my head as he pressed me against his chest. I could hear the relief in his sigh. I hugged him back but I was just a little confused. "Thank god you're okay." He said. I pulled away a little and looked up at him, "Of course I'm okay, why wouldn't I be?" I asked. "You didn't answer your phone last night and you didn't come home. We thought maybe you were working but we heard that the studio was shot up." "What!" I backed up and looked at him with wide eyes. My studio was ruined? My first thought was Dong gab but he wasn't stupid enough to do that. Not when he knew I still had leverage over him. His other wearhouses were rigged, so if I needed Rick or John to blow it down, we could do it remotely now. Don't get confused, I was efficent and very cunning. I had back up plans set in place in case my other plans fell through. However, if Dong gab wasn't the one to shoot up my studio who was? "You didn't know?" "Does this face look like I knew?" I snapped. "Then where were you?" He asked. "I can't tell you." "I know you asked me to trust you but how am I supposed to do that if you don't share anything with me and Woo?" Christian argued. "Oh I don't know maybe the same way you and Woo did your missions without telling me anything. I've been with you guys for two years, I've always told you the truth meanwhile you kept secrets from me too." "That's different-" "Why? Because you're the good guys? Don't flatter yourself Christian you maybe able to kill legally but a killer is still a killer. I asked you to trust me because I would have to keep these secrets until it was time for me to reveal the truth to you all. If I reveal too much to you then I can't protect you from what's to come." "We're supposed to be protecting you Y/N." He just wasn't getting it. I couldn't tell him anything. As long as they were left in the dark, whatever happened next they couldn't be blamed for it. If I was found out to be alive, if the public knew I was the ones to be pulling the strings and they knew about my plans I put them in a very compromising position with their boss. So long as I kept everything to myself, as long as they couldn't predict my next move or tell their boss what I was going to do next, my plans would stay on the right track. Staying on the right track also meant that I had to get other things set up. I sighed and placed my phone on the table. "Look I don't have time to argue about this. The sooner we deal with Changmo the sooner we can get back to normalcy in our lives." I said. "I don't think it will be that easy Y/N." "Sure it will, all we have to do is pretend like it never happened." "That maybe easy for you but it's not that easy for us Y/N. We love you, we want to be with you but there's so many things out in the open now. We can't just pretend it didn't happen." "Then that's your problem," I looked back at him from the bedroom door. "I can't guarentee I'll be home tonight so you'll have to call me if you need me for anything. I have some work I need to do. I just want to get this over with." I said. He called after me like he wanted to argue but I had walked off and started getting in the shower. Maybe Code was right, maybe I should just go back to the mob. It seemed like Christian was going to always let his mind linger on what he had learned and I just wasn't sure if Woo even wanted me around them anymore. Things had gotten complicated but I couldn't worry about that. I quickly washed up, changed and put my make up on. I made sure to cover my face again and I took the Camry to pick up Rick. I had to drop him off a few blocks away giving him enough range to not be seen at the top of the building with a gun. He was able to get a good look at the room I was supposed to be meeting Sungbin in. I showed up in the kitchen wearing the server uniform. I put in a text to John from my burner phone asking him to check into the security cameras by my studio. I gave him the address before I went inside. For most of my time there, I was working under a false name. Most of the people there didn't pay much attention to me. I wore contacts that made my eyes look hazel rather than the dark brown pools they already were. No one in there looked remotely familiar just yet but as the lunch rush turned into dinner time, there were some people I started to recognize. Most of them hadn't seen my face before but I knew them from their reputation. I had worked the whole shift like I was serving tables here regularly. So when the shift ended, I swiftly made accommodations to the staffs cooking ingredients. Then I made my way to the bathroom, changing my looks. I put red contact lenses in and slipped on a long black wig with bangs that covered up my eyes. I put on my black tank and jacket and let Rick know I was moving into position. When I got out of the bathroom, I slipped a waitress some extra money asking her to bring Sungbin's food to the room he wanted for his meeting. I wanted to be able to control who saw me and who didn't. Not to mention, if she was questioned later by police when she described me, she wouldn't have a description that matched the so called new server. The place had only a few cameras: two in the front, one to watch the entrance and one to watch the bottom dinning hall. There was one by the kitchen because the register was there and there was one in the back of the restaurant as well. Even though I came through the back way, the camera shouldn't have picked me up because I wore a scrambler when I came in. It disrupted the signal to the camera so it couldn't pick up my image as I walked by. It would just look like the camera glitched. Everything was set into place and I waited for Sungbin to enter. He was always so prompt, lucky for me. The waitress I bribed went in to take his order. She told me he made his order already and he was sipping on wine that she had brought him. He was so routine that everyone that worked there already knew what port to bring him and what he would be ordering. They knew he didn't care to wait for his company either, if they showed up while he was eating then they would speak while he ate. His routines and odd habits made him very predictable. Which was a dangerous thing for someone who dealt in the black market, patterns were a criminals downfall yet we all had them. Some things were unavoidable but Sungbin had OCD, he needed those patterns. Trust me, I did my research and even a refresher course the night I discovered his name on the list. He was on Changmo's watch list at one point; I was almost ordered to kill him. I gave Rick a call asking him if he had Sungbin in his sights but the curtains weren't drawn anymore so he couldn't get a good shot. That made it a little difficult but it was an easy fix. I went ahead and walked into the room and he looked up to see me. My mask was covering the other half of my face so he couldn't identify me. We never truly became acquainted before but I didn't want to run the risk of him seeing a picture of me and claiming he saw me. I had to be careful, that was always something burned into my head. "Who are you?" He asked. I had a small bag in my jacket pocket and a knife in the other in case it was needed. I didn't answer him right away I simply opened the curtains. He looked back at me appalled and demanded an explanation. I remained silent as I took a seat in the available chair in front of him. The room was small and cozy, the lights were warm and the sun had set now so I could see the living city lit up by lights behind him. He swallowed tensely and said, "Who sent you?" I smiled behind the mask and said, "I came here for some information." The list that John made for me was in my pocket. I had it in the small bag and pulled it out along with a pen. I unfolded the paper and handed it to him and placed the pen on the table between us. I passed the paper over to him and he looked it over before looking at me. "What is this?" He asked. "Don't you know a list when you see one?" "A hit list?" "Not exactly." "Then why?" "That's my business. I just want you to look at the list. Look at it very carefully and mark off anyone's name that you know works for Changmo." His eyes narrowed and his hand held the wine glass in his hand a little tighter. His jaw stiffened a bit and I saw a glint of uncertainty in his eye. "Did Taeil send you?" He asked. I chuckled behind the mask. It was in Taeil's style to send someone else to do his bidding. I was only mildly interested in what he might've done for Taeil to possibly put him on his hit list. I didn't answer him though I just stared back at him and that made him all the more nervous. "If he was unhappy with the product he didn't need to send an assassin after me." He said. He drank from his wine glass in large gulps until it was empty. He seemed like more of a coward than I expected but he calmed himself and looked at the paper. He looked like he was contemplating whether or not to do as I asked. He placed the paper down and started to shuffle in his pants. I could already tell what he was doing, so I held the signal up for Rick to be ready to show the light of his gun on me despite it being fixed on Sungbin previously. "I wouldn't do that if I were you." I warned. He held his gun out but saw the light pointed on me soon disappearing when I gave Rick another hand signal. He turned towards the window to see that the light was coming from outside and that it was now fixed on him as he looked at his chest. He shook his head and I reached over to take the gun from him. "Thanks I needed a new toy anyway." I chuckled. "What do you want with Changmo?" He asked as he turned back to me. "That's my business. I just want the names of the ones that work for him." "You think by just asking I'm going to give you what you want? Crossing Changmo is just as stupid as crossing Taeil." "How would he know? Unless of course you tell him. You have a great deal of affairs in the black market; tell me, do you think the NIS would start looking into you if they found some footage of you dealing with some shady characters?" He smiled at my challenge now. He came at me with a cockiness like he knew damn well there were no cameras around when he did his dealings. If he believed that he was far more foolish than I thought, there were always cameras around, our phones were easily hacked into there was always someone watching. Even my burner phone could be traced, it was just unlikely it would linked directly back to me. Before we could continue, the waitress I had bribed walked in and placed his food before him. He slipped the paper away so she couldn't see what we were discussing. The waitress looked at me and asked if I wanted anything and I shook my head. I gave her another sum of money in front of him and put my finger to my covered up lips like I was telling her to keep the secret. She looked at him for a second and nodded before she left and closed the door behind her. I locked the door just to make sure we weren't interrupted again. He looked at his food for a second and then stopped. "Pay anyone else, did you?" He asked I smiled at him even if he couldn't really tell and I walked over to his plate. I grabbed a fork and took food off his plate with it and placed in my mouth. I gave him a good view of my neck so he could see when I swallowed his food. There was a bit of a smirk on his face as he realized that I hadn't poisoned his food. I sat back down in front of him. "As you can see it's safe for you to eat. Poison is traceable and having to pay off so many people to add it to your food with no guarentee you'd actually it is just a waste of money and time. You were wrong about me Sungbin. I'm not an assassin. Assassin's merely find their mark and kill them. They don't ask for information." I explained. He started putting food into his mouth while he used his empty hand to crumple up my paper. He gave me a smirk now like he had the advantage. He realized me killing him wasn't to my advantage and having him shot down by Rick without being threatened or having my information was useless. However, he was severely underestimating me. He tossed the crumpled paper at me like he was insulting me and I caught it with one hand. I started at him, my red eyed contacts giving him a devilishly piercing look from behind my bangs. I slowly reopened the paper and said, "You see, assassin's rarely do their homework and if they do it's only to find out where their target is most likely to be and how guarded they are. Me on the other hand I look deeper. Like at the fact that you have an eight year old daughter named Eunji," His eyes flitted up from his plate to me and the sudden look of fear returned to his eyes. He stopped eating and set his fork down slowly as if he were ready to listen to me. I smoothed out the paper as I continued, "She's a very bright student. She seems very ignorant to what you do behind the scenes but then again most of the general public is. However, people like me dig even deeper than that. We search for patterns, friends, weaknesses," my eyes now flitted up from the paper to give him a menacing glare. He started to make noise with his throat as if something were caught in it. He gave a cough or two and looked at me in horror,"for example, your nature for routine makes your moves quite predictable. You order the same meal from the same restaurant, you arrive on time and drink the same port. I even looked into your medical history, " He coughed again and his hand wrapped around his throat. I stood up and walked over to him bending over him as I moved his plate and placed the paper on the table again. I set the pen on the paper and said, "Particularly that you're highly allergic to peanuts. So of course the cooks here would know to never cook your food in peanut oil right?" I laughed, "You see, poisoning you would spark too many questions enough but exchanging the vegetable oil that they cook your sides in for peanut oil sounds like an unfortunate accident." I pulled out the bag I had the pen in and revealed the EpiPen I had brought with me. His throat was closing up and he was struggling to breathe, turning colors even. I shook the EpiPen in front of his face and made him look at me as I smiled. "You'd think you'd be smart enough to carry one of these with you incase of an emergency but oh well. Now, you do have a choice, you can give me what I want or your can die right here. Who's going to question a death by allergic reaction?" He tried to reach for the pen and I pulled it away, "Are you going to give me what I want?" He nodded as best as he could and I went ahead and gave him the dose from his EpiPen. I could only imagine what Rick was thinking as I did this. Sungbin tried to relax as the EpiPen settled into his body. It took several minutes until he was just breathing correctly, the sound of wheezing was finally gone after about twenty minutes. He returned to a normal color and his eyes stopped watering. I grabbed him by the hair pushing his head into the list and demanded him to do as I had asked before. He quickly picked up the pen and started going over the list, circling names of people that worked for Changmo. When he was finally finished, I thanked him and headed for the door before I stopped and said, "Oh and I would keep this just between us because if Changmo gets wind of this, I'll send you a video of me torturing your daughter before he can kill me." I saw him swallow in shock and panic. I giggled as I unlocked the door leaving him in his dazed state while he recovered from his extreme reaction. I had no real desire to hurt his child and, if it came down to it, I might only attempt to scare him by sending him a video of me watching her just to make sure he minds his tongue. If I had to punish him for his loose lips, it would be more beneficial for me to kill him but I've learned that men with families are more likely to behave when you threaten their innocent loved ones rather than them. They'd willingly give their lives for their children but they were less likely to risk their children's lives for their evil deeds. I stripped myself of my wig and as I headed to the car and changed my clothes in the front seat before I took my contacts out. I texted Rick to let him know I was on my way to get him and swung by the building I dropped him off at, picking him up in the back alley way. "Get what you were looking for?" He asked. "Yup." "Now what?" "Now--it's time to prepare for war." I looked at Rick and he smiled at me just as thrilled by the idea as I was. There was also this deep energy within me that was ready to explode. I was getting closer to my reunion with Changmo than I realized. I dropped Rick off at his place and used my burner phone to text Dong gab a copy of the list of Changmo's men. I told him they were the people he needed to either get rid of or recruit once Changmo was dead. I was also getting ready to set up the conflict between Changmo and Dong gab. It was time to make him come after the White Fang, at the same time I was setting it up for Christian and Woo to get the NIS to swarm in. I was killing every bird with one stone I just needed it to work. I stopped by my studio to see the damage. The glass was shattered all on the floor. There was police tape surrounding it, Woo or Christian must've handled it for me so that the police wouldn't bring me in. Christian was starting to lose faith in me I could tell but Woo was too hard for me to read at this point. I wasn't sure if he trusted me at all or was setting up a trap from me later himself. I thought about all of that as I walked through the studio. They had destroyed some of my art pieces as well. As I looked at the damage, I noticed that the glass looked like it was in a pattern. I stepped back and stared at it until I could finally make out what it said: Devil. "Changmo." I breathed. "Hey Roo." The voice startled me as I whipped around. I pulled out the gun I had taken from Sungbin and held it up. The rush of adrenaline now felt like a wave that had overcome me and I was completely out of control. I could feel myself shaking, my heart was pumping harshly. In the smoothest suit known to man, Changmo stood in the doorway of my backroom. He had one hand in his pocket and a certain smile on his face. I had the opportunity to show no mercy and pull the trigger, to kill him and end this all now and yet... I couldn't....
