Guillermo del Toro, the director to Pacific Rim, took a new approach to ghost stories. His new movie, Crimson Peak, not only delivered on spectacular imagery, but amazing storytelling. It gives off that similar visual darkness of his past movie, Pan's Labyrinth.
Without spoiling for those that have yet to see it, it's an amazing mystery/horror. Although ghosts are an accent to the underlining mystery of Crimson Peak, it's plenty scary that will leave you with goosebumps. So if you like creepy and like a little twist, check out Crimson Peak.
The movie hit Box Office just above 13 million domestically and just below 27 million worldwide.
