There is nothing going on between them, okay!?
Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence are not in a relationship and that's a fact. Cooper quickly dismissed rumors that he was interested in Lawrence after being interviewed on The Howard Stern Show. Howard Stern, the Sirius XM Radio Show Host, pressured Cooper into revealing if he had any feelings for Lawrence since the two have starred together as lovers in over three consecutive movies. However, even though the two may have been in love on the silver screen, they are simply friends in real life.
"Never," Cooper quickly responded when asked if the two had ever slept together, "It just didn't happen. It's not the way we are together."
However, despite Cooper denying the claim, Stern asked if Lawrence's age had anything to do with their platonic relationship. Cooper followed up by saying that the 15-year age gap was irrelevant and that the two still remain friends.
"I said that once on a red carpet just as a diffuse thing and then it became a thing because the girl I was seeing (23-year-old Suki Waterhouse) was as young as she was," he explained.
Though it is interesting that his current girlfriend is basically the same age as Lawrence, Cooper views it as merely a coincidence. The 40-year-old Hollywood star is still supporting Lawrence in any way he can, especially following her recent essay on the gender wage gap in Hollywood. He revealed to Entertainment Tonight that he agrees with Lawrence, the wage gap is a huge problem that needs to be addressed.
"There's a double standard in the whole world, yeah, for sure. This is just one aspect," Cooper said. "Anytime there's a place where a voice can come out and be outspoken -- something Sienna (Miller) did, or Jennifer -- that's great. ... I think it is making a difference."
Well, folks, there you have it, a platonic relationship. Move along now...
