The Forbes Fab 40 released the list, The Most Valuable Athlete Brands in 2015.
The list was compiled by calculating the amount by which endorsement income exceeds the average endorsement income earned by the top 10 earning athletes in the same sport during the past year.

Here is the list starting with the tenth most valuable athlete brand in 2015. Enjoy!

10. Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Brand Value (2015): $11.5 million

9. Rory Mcilroy

Brand Value (2015): $12 million

8. Cristiano Ronaldo

Brand Value (2015): $16 million

I'm surprised Tiger Woods is still number one. His brand value was $36 million in 2014, so there was a drop of $6 million....but he still holds onto the number one spot. And I guess golf is the way to go!

@ButterflyBlu Yeah I was pretty surprised by that too! I guess the market for baseball and football is heavily concentrated in the US while all those other sports up there have brand values throughout the world haha

Rory McIlroy is one of my favorite golfers. He's got heart, and I really respect that. I once went to see The World Golf Championship in Akron and picked up one of Phil Michelson's divots. I was obsessed with him because I was one of the only left handed golfers in my conference. Leftie! Glad to see so many golfers on the list. It's a seriously underrated sport
