NACHOS OF VINGLE: Recipes From Fellow Vinglers!
So last Wednesday was the International Day of Nachos, and Vingle's Funny Foodies Brigade celebrated by sharing their own favorite ways to prepare a plate of nachos - which got me thinking:

WHY ARE WE NOT SHARING THESE AWESOME NACHO RECIPES WITH THE REST OF THE VINGLEVERSE?

And so we've decided to compile the best recipes contributed to my Nacho Appreciation Card to bring you (the hungry Vingler) some more excuses to stuff cheese into your face.

'300' Nachos

"Tonight we dine... in CHEESE."

Ingredients:

Tortilla chips
Cheese (3 different kinds + nacho cheese sauce)
Sour cream
Tomatoes (diced)
Lettuce (finely shredded)
Jalapenos (sliced)
Black olives (sliced)
Taco seasoned ground beef

How To Layer:

Chips -> Cheese #1 -> Sour Cream -> Cheese #2 -> Tomatoes -> Lettuce -> Cheese #3 -> Sour Cream -> Jalapenos -> Black Olives -> Nacho Cheese Sauce -> Beef -> Sour Cream

BBQ Chicken Nachos

BBQ chicken? Cheesy nachos? Why not both?

Ingredients:

Tortilla chips
Traditional melted cheese
Jalapenos (sliced)
BBQ sauce
BBQ chicken
Onions (chopped)
Some banana peppers

How To Layer:

Chips -> BBQ Sauce -> Chicken -> Cheese -> Jalapenos -> Onions -> Banana Peppers

Triple Dorito Nachos

You ever get face-slapped by a Dorito, bruh?

Ingredients:

Doritos (3 different types - Spicy Nacho, Cool Ranch, and Chile Verde)
Nacho cheese sauce
El Pato sauce (and/or enchilada sauce)
Avocado, sliced
Refried beans
Sour cream
Sharp cheddar (shredded)
Banana peppers
Iceberg lettuce (shredded)
White chicken breast (diced) OR spicy ground beef
Lemon juice

How To Layer:

Doritos -> Nacho Sauce -> El Pato/Enchilada Sauce -> Avocado -> Beans -> Sour Cream -> Cheddar -> Banana Peppers -> Lettuce -> Chicken/Beef -> Lemon Juice

Nachos Velveeta-Style

For the nacho lover who likes their chips extra 'gloopy'!

Ingredients:

Tostitos
Velveeta cheese
Chicken or ground beef
Salsa
Sour cream
Jalapenos

How To Layer:

Chips -> Cheese -> [STOP! Bake at 350F for 15 - 20 minutes.] -> Meat -> Salsa -> Sour Cream -> Jalapenos

Chili-Cheese Nachos

Nachos! Chili! Cheese! What more could you want?!

Avocado
Chili
Black beans
Onion (sauteed)
Tomatoes (diced)
Ground beef
Cheese

How To Build:

Chips -> Chili -> Black Beans -> Onion -> Beef-> Cheese -> Tomatoes -> Avocado

Super Asada Fries

The best nachos you ever had are actually a plate of fries.

French fries (crispy - please!!)
Mexican-style meat (usually carne asada, pollo, carnitas, adobada, lengua, etc.)
Sour cream
Cheese
Guacamole
Salsa
Refried beans

How To Build:

Fries -> Beans -> Meat -> Cheese -> Guacamole -> Salsa

@Danse I'm glad you liked them!! :D And lol, the taco pun made me laugh. I love me a good dad-style word play. @TylerOrtega Which one do you want to try first?! I'm in a toss-up between the chili and the BBQ chicken.

@danidee The whole card made me laugh like crazy. And... made me hungry. So all around I'd say it succeeded! *snicker* Tiny spoons that carry all the delicious to your mouth... yes, yes I agree. Tiny spoons that often break and poke your taste buds in order to inflict more painfully delicious flavor. >_>
