5 Things You Should Try This Weekend
The weekend is a time for rest, relaxation and sleeping in. It's also a great time to try new things. So, let's pick a few things that will up the bracket of your weekend.

1. Cook for yourself!

I'm not talking about your rudimentary grilled cheese or salad. No. Pick out a serious meal and create it from scratch. Make a day of it and head to the grocery store, list in hand. Pick up all the necessary items for your awesome weekend meal and get going. Even if you hate cooking, just do something new!
You can find a new recipe or idea in our amazing Food community right here on Vingle. Seriously, check it out: Vingle Food.

2. Hit up the book store.

I love going to book shops and hanging out for a few hours. It's a great way to get lost. Spend your time lost in the stacks. My favorite bookstore in the country is The Strand in Union Square, New York City. You can spend days in there. Find a local store and give them your business.

3. Get ahead at a coffee shop or cafe.

Cafes are my favorite part of Korea, you can find an elaborately decorated or themed cafe on every corner. You can post-up there, get a nice drink, have some free wi-fi and get ready for the work ahead. It's low pressure, and really fun if you have a good book and the right mindset.

4. DIY something simple.

Like a sharpie mug! This DIY is perfect for those of us who love to flaunt our handwriting and drawing skills. Even if you don't have that artistic flare, you could like...draw a cute stick figure...or something.

5. Mix a new cocktail.

Try this simple cranberry thyme gin and tonic for a little kick this weekend, have your friends over and make a night of it.

Cheers to the weekend!

@TessStevens most of these I do on a weekend basis, besides diy something simple. I think it's actually all but the diy something simple. ^_^
