Halloween is officially only a few more days away, and I don't know about you guys, but I'm seriously pumped. Halloween is by far my most favorite holiday, and I can't wait to spend it dressed up in a fun costume, eating candy, and watching scary movies with my friends.
It's also when I reminisce about when I was young enough to go Trick-or-Treating. My sister and I would go door to door with pillowcases full of Tootsie Rolls, mini Hershey's bars, and Blow Pops. It was an exhausting task, but all the effort was completely worth it - because CANDY!!!
But, as any good Trick-or-Treater knows, not all houses on your neighborhood are created equal. How many of you remember THESE houses?
House #1: The One With The 'Take One' Basket
Pro: If you get there early enough, you have tons of candy options.
Con: Let's be real. Someone's going to steal the entire bucket before anyone else can.
House #2: The One With Full-Size Chocolate Bars
Pro: Shouldn't that be obvious? Full. Size. Chocolate Bars, you guys.
Con: 98% of the houses you visit on Halloween will not be this house.
House #3: The One With The Haunted House
Pro: If you love scary stuff, it's like going on one of those jump-scare hayrides for free!
Con: If you hate scary stuff, you're probably not going to be able to get to the candy.
House #4: The One Where No One's Home
Pro: HOW WOULD THERE EVER BE A 'PRO' TO THIS SITUATION?
Con: THEY'RE NOT HOME, THE LIGHTS ARE OFF, AND THEY DIDN'T LEAVE ANY CANDY!
House #5: The One With The Slow Old Person
Pro: They are usually surprisingly generous with their candy - even if it is left over from last year.
Con: They always take forever painstakingly adding candy piece-by-piece to your bag while asking you and your friend what kind of costumes you're wearing.
So there you have them - the five different houses all Trick-or-Treaters visit on Halloween night.
Are there any houses I left out? Let me know in the comments below!
