Rachelina Takes on Global Diets~ Day 8
I hope you enjoyed watching the video. ^_^ I had a great day today, but not because I lost weight, not because I exercised, and not because I stuck to my diet. lol, it was because I survived the walk home without wanting to cheat on my diet. First let me explain why the walk home has the possibility of being worse for my diet than taking the bus. On my way home, I pass at least 14 bakeries, 1 Krispy Kreme Doughnut that always has hot doughnuts, 5 Dunkin doughnuts, 2 McDonalds, 2 Burger Kings, and a great takoyaki stand. My path home is pretty much where diets go to die. When I first started my diet, walking home was unbearable b/c I knew I had to pass all of this when my stamina was at its lowest. I would try to rationalize that I could have the doughnut b/c I was exercising and had stuck to my diet, but then I would think, NO!!! Don't waste all your effort up until now on that. Today on my walk home, those thoughts didn't even enter my mind. I just walked pass them all without regret. That's why I had a great day. lol. Anyhoo, moving on to my food diary and exercise journal: Food Diary: - Breakfast: Naval Orange----I know plenty of people think that this is not enough, but my stomach has never really been able to handle eating early in the morning, so I struggle to eat the orange. - Iced caffe latte (no sugar) Lunch: Grilled chicken wrap and a hard-boiled egg. Snack: Hot Americano (no sugar) with some banana chips. Dinner: Two hard-boiled eggs and an orange. (I really wasn't that hungry, so didn't find a need to eat nymore than that) Snack: A handful of almonds and water Global Part: - I tried a Korean diet supplement, some kind of pomegranate vinegar. Let's just say that it was a good thing that I waited to drink it at home instead of work. lol. Apparently, it is a popular drink among a certain age group on Korea. -My friend recommended that I drink the pu'er tea that I purchased in China b/c it is supposedly good for your diet. So I may start to drink that too. Exercise: -3.5K to work -3.5K to home Weight Today: 127.13Kg (total weight loss of 7.52kg~16.52 pounds). The biggest question is have I noticed any changes? Actually yes. My face is a little smaller. lol. Cm. Loss: 22.5 cm in total.
