Dry skin in the winter time is not fun. Anybody who suffers from chronic dryness is always searching for that one product that's going to change it all. So, look no further my friends. Here are 5 products you won't be able to live without once winter really starts to rear its ugly head.

1. Nivea's In-Shower Lotion

Now, this product is fairly new, so forgive me for not having a lot of scientific evidence, but holy shit does this work. You can use it in the shower, so none of that greasy after-water feeling, and it will save you time: no second step. All you have to do is apply it like regular lotion, buff it in and then wash it off.
Bam, baby smooth skin right out of the shower.

2. EOS Lip Balm

This is the holy grail for dry lips, seriously. People go on and on about the packaging but that becomes irrelevant, because the product is so kick ass. You can buy one in every flavor, but they're pretty much all the same. It seems that beauty gurus across the globe have universally accepted this product as the best lip balm ever.

3. Philosophy's Hope In A Jar

This stuff smells like heaven and makes your skin feel even better. Apply this right before you go to sleep and you'll wake up hydrated and refreshed. It's a little bit pricier than the other two products, but it'll last longer and

4. Yes to Coconut Restoring Hand Cream

This stuff really makes your hands soft. Avoid that cracked dry feeling once the temperature drops. Put this on before you slip on your gloves, and by the end of November, you'll have amazingly soft hands. Seriously, you don't need those expensive spa gloves with the aloe in them. Just do it yourself!

5. M.A.C. Strobe Cream

This stuff is the only primer you'll need this winter. If you're looking for that dewy skin, but seem to dry out completely, this is the product for you. I wouldn't have survived the last two winters without this stuff. Trust me, if you swipe this on under your makeup you'll never flake again.

Have you used any of these products? Have an even better suggestion!? Please! Leave a comment below!

@amobigbang I've never used avocado oil! What's the texture like!
@RobynHope yes! Nivea chapstick is awesome, do you have a particular one that you like???
I will say pure avacado oil
Avacado is the oil from god! it's a fatty oil. For me a little goes a long way. I buy mine at sally. I think I did a card about oils.
