It looks like everything is turning up Adele since the release of her new song "Hello". It's recently been announced that she'll be performing in the US for the first time since 2011 n Novemeber 17th in New York City at Radio City Music Hall.
And her performance will be recorded and shown on television later on December 14th. The one-hour special titled Adele Live In New York City looks like the perfect way to wind down during the holiday season.
Well, maybe not wind down. Maybe it'll be a good way to get all those emotions out of your system before you have to visit family and get asked why you aren't dating anyone/what happened with your last partner and why aren't they here right now. I mean, the last thing I need is to think up answers for those weird questions when I go to a family get together.
But maybe listening to Adele's voice and watching her on television will help me cope with the fact that I am, in fact, alone. Wait, what? That sounds depressing. I don't want to think about how alone I am. Maybe instead of reminding me that we all die alone one day, it'll help me feel okay and validated in my feelings. Adele's never steered me wrong before. So I doubt she will now.
You can catch Adele Live In New York on December 14th on NBC. And make sure you catch her musical guest spot on Saturday Night Live on November 21st as well.
[I left the video for her song Hello below. You know, just in case you wanted to feel things other than nothing.]
