Hey all! It's been a while since I did an anime preview, so I thought I'd take some time today to write another one ^^ Here we go!

Thoughts Before Starting

This anime was on my "Fall 2015" anime list up, and quite a few people seemed interested in watching it. I'm pretty late getting started, but I like waiting until a few episodes are out so I can binge watch if I really enjoy it! So, I'm going to get started now! Is anybody else watching this?

Anime Details

Title: Beautiful Bones; Sakurako's Investigation Japanese Title: Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatteiru (A Corpse is Buried Under Sakurako's Feet) 櫻子さんの足下には死体が埋まっている Episodes 12, currently airing (fall 2015) Source: based on light novel

Initial Impressions

OKAY I THINK I REALLY LIKE THIS! I was hoping for a Bones (the tv series) gone anime type of show, and while this isn't exactly that, it's still pretty great! The animations throughout the opening and the blossoms that carried throughout until we met Sakurako were such a nice touch. The other thing I really liked so far was the way that while she goes into "investigation mode" we get really cool scenes. Like when she snapped into inspector mode, we saw all the colorful bones around her, and how they were transported underwater as she discussed what people who drowned usually look like. It's teaching me a lot AND it's really pretty! This is cool!

Overall Episode Impressions:

Visuals: 10 Animation: 10 Sound design: 9 Storyboard: 9 World/setting: 7 Character designs: 7 OP + ED: 10 Entertainment: 9 Voice acting: 10

Am I Going to Continue?

YES. ABSOLUTELY YES. Who else is watching this?! Seriously you should all give at least the first episode a try! It's not exactly super action filled, but it's definitely interesting, and I have a feeling that there are many secrets and stories that will gradually come to light :)

If you have any anime you'd like previewed...

Let me know! I'm happy to do more preview cards about other anime ^_^
Thanks @MaighdlinS I have seen images from Death Parade but wasn't sure what it was about. I'll have to check it out
Iv stayed caught up since the first episode came out, and I simply love it. The very style that they used to expand into the show was fascinating to me. The characters are all perfect for this setting, in my belief. I would recommend it to all.
I'll have to start watching it!
oh I understand
Hello! I've been out if touch with the anime world, and I was actually wondering if you had any suggestions? I just finished Tokyo Ghoul seasons 1 & 2 ( balled my eyes out ) and am looking for something akin. I love anime that is similar. Anything would do, really, but something with less than five seasons ha-ha. If you have any references, I'd appreciate it. if not, thank you for the intro to this one!
