I've written about sweded trailers before, well, once before. So, I'm going to assume if you're reading this you know what I'm talking about or you clicked that link I just linked (come on, keep up). Since you already know how much I love the idea behind sweded trailers and fan-made remakes, I won't get into that too much. But the folks at Cinefix came through with another sweded trailer but this time they tackled Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
And oh man, I loved it.
I don't really know how to describe the noise I made while watching this trailer. But it's sort of like a squee. Like if there was a small tiny baby pig in my throat, telling me to stop eating bacon because that's like cannibalism, man. Or it was the same sound a squirrel would make if I had stepped on it while I was walking through a forest of weird talking animals.
There's a lot to this noise, alright. It's not something I could type out. So maybe you should leave your phone number and I promise I'll leave you a voicemail making that noise. And then my family will stop making fun of me for not having any numbers in my contacts list. I know it's weird for someone my age to not have numbers but I don't really make friends easy and cardboard versions of Star Wars make me happy.
Like, how do I introduce that. How do I even talk about how awesome a homemade trailer remake is awesome? Should I just go into some weird tangent about the strange noises I make when I watch or do things I really love doing? Probably not. That'd be too out there, too weird. Too strange. And Paul, you can't have people think you're strange. You've got to be normal. Remember what your High School Guidance Counselor said to you,

Paul, if you keep coming to school with that Stormtrooper outfit on, it's like you're asking to get your ass kicked. So stop being weird and get to class on time.

Anyway, the trailer is really great. Especially the paper explosions. You can check out the side-by-side comparison here.
