Poor Mets Fan...Probably the Biggest Regret of His Life!

I know all my Mets fans (@jeff4122 and @DannyMoses) are utterly disappointed and still trying to get over what happened Sunday night.

Yes, it's sad and all, but it's also time to move on. Baseball will come back once again and things are looking really good for the Mets organization.

Everyone should try to move on with the exception of maybe this one particular fan...

Meet Josh Davis of Hackettstown, New Jersey.

Josh is a hardcore New York Mets fan. And he decided to go out and do something brave(?) and reckless(?) in celebration of his favorite team making it to the World Series.
Josh got a tattoo that read:

"World-Champs 2015"

But....
as we all know by now,

the Kansas City Royals are 2015 World Series champions!

Um yeah....so Josh, what are you going to do about that tattoo?

Well at least Josh said he doesn't regret his tattoo. In an interview, he stated,
“I don’t regret it at all. I’ve been a huge Mets fan my whole life. I can always change it. I could always add to it. People are saying to wait until next year and make it a six [2016]."

Well, that's the spirit buddy! But I seriously do hope you learned your lesson.

@nicolejb - it should be fixable. If nothing else they can cover the 2015. >.<
ohhh noooo. this is just... well, sad. poor Mets fan. I really do hope he can fix the tattoo...
yeah you are probably right! for now, he can cover it with makeup and wait it out. haha @mchlyang
@nicolejb Ehh...I don't know about a baseball. It would be even more depressing if they don't win the World Series while Josh is alive!
Yeah, put something like a little baseball or something over that... lol.

Love It Or Hate It: Live Sporting Events?
Welcome to the Funny Community game, Love It Or Hate It! This game is really similar to Monday's 'No Good or So Good' food game - except this one deals a lot more with non-food things. Every week, I highlight a different thing that a lot of people either really love or really hate and see how our community feels overall! Last week, I asked you how you felt about SELFIE STICKS. It was an EXTREMELY tight vote, but out of the 60 who gave your opinion, 33 of you said that they're actually kind of useful! Soooo... SELFIE STICKS WIN!!!! This week, I want to know: How do you feel about attending live sports games? Spectator sports have been around since the days of Ancient Greece, but the ones we know and love today came into being in the mid 19th century! The number of Americans that attend at least one live sporting event annually is easily in the tens of millions. However, the amount of them that find said sporting event COMPLETELY BORING is still widely unknown. How do YOU feel about spectator sports? Are they tons of fun or brutally boring? Debate, debate, debate! @Inaritricx @Taijiotter @wonyeop316 @AimeeH @XergaB20 @JustinaNguyen @Danse @RainaC3 @bnrenchilada @destiny1419 @arnelli @Luci546 @InPlainSight @Ash2424701 @GingerMJones @zwdodds @LenaBlackRose @misssukyi @TerraToyaSi @kneelb4zod @BrookeStam @RachelParker @JaxomB @ultraninja10 @reyestiny93 @MattK95 @MajahnNelson @petname83 @BluBear07 @melifluosmelodi @ZoilaObregon @GossamoKewen95 @TracyLynnn @TiffanyWallace @VixenViVi @DenieceSuit @ButterflyBlu @CelinaGonzalez @MaighdlinS @maddiemoozer @VeronicaArtino @iixel @TomHawthorne @DominiqueThomas @ElizabethT @RiggaFoster @AluSparklez @kvnguyen @chris98vamg @WiviDemol @animechild51 @2Distracted @cthulu @jazziejazz @JessicaChaney @shantalcamara @J1mbleJ4mz @Beeplzzz @carmaa10 @MayraYanez @Kamiamon @HeatherWright @MischiefK1ng @SeoInHan @ShonA @KennyMcCormick @MooshieBay @IMNII @Ikpoper @humairaa @merryjayne13 @zoemvillarreal @lilleonz @ChristinaOMalle @AllieGrabowski @baileykayleen @KarleyFrance @Ticasensei @EasternShell @musicundefined9 @peahyr @TerrecaRiley @MoisEsGaray @atmi @AlidaGarman @sanRico @orenshani7 @jannatd93 @ReadAnimateSwim @Astrohelix @dimplequeen @ChildofSparda13 @grapetoes2000 @sarahpjane @LittleHorn @justinasarmento @deilig @GalaxyTacoCat @amobigbang @LAVONYORK @Jason41 @kpopdeluxegirl @BlackDragon88 @Bobs @paularasnick @Animaniafreak @YumiMiyazaki @Patmanmeow @MarvelTrashcan @kawaiiporpoise @Xiuyeolhyun @MaggieHolm @xDaisyDaysx
Joe Maddon wins Manager of the Year
Not that this is terribly surprising, but it's newsworthy all the same: Joe Maddon is the National League's Manager of the Year. The Cubs went 97-65 this season, a year after going just 73-89. They made the playoffs via the Wild Card and progressed to the NLCS, where they were eventually swept by the Mets in four games. Maddon's presence with the team certainly went a long, long way to turning things around for one of the league's most troubled franchises. It's not all about Maddon, though - this Cubs team was nothing like the 2014 edition. The emergence of young future (and even present) superstars like Kris Bryant and Kyle Schwarber turned this team on its head. The youngsters, combined with amazing seasons by Anthony Rizzo and pitcher Jake Arrieta made the Cubs one of the most feared teams in the National League. Many had them picked to win the World Series before they ran into the piping-hot Mets in the NLCS. They met an unstoppable force and couldn't pull it off, but had a great season nonetheless. In a somewhat surprising move, the Mets' Terry Collins finished third in Manager of the Year voting behind Maddon and Mike Matheny of the Cardinals. Sure, the Cardinals finished with the best record in baseball, but if you ask me, what Collins did as manager was more impressive than Matheny's work. The Mets' head honcho took a minor league roster and guided them through a brutal first half of the season before picking up some huge mid-season acquisitions and turning on the style late in the season, reaching the World Series before falling to the Royals. Sure, none of this actually matters, and I think most people pretty much agreed that Maddon would win Manager of the Year. Many probably picked Collins to finish second ahead of Matheny, but that's just making an argument for no reason. So, there we have it baseball fans: Maddon, Matheny, Collins. Is this the right order? Would you have given the award to someone else? @ButterflyBlu @superiorsl @Starbell808 @DonnaMelton @jokes @BEAUTYgirlARIEL @David19Flo23 @karencorchado @SamuelRodriguez @xitlalicordova1 @AndrewMaldonado @Link4TW @DannyMoses @ClaySharko @Ravenwing92 @FromBlue2U @LemissaNicole @BossDominata @MalikLawary @KyleBerke @DerekGumtow @Straightshooter @Kirooken @TravisManning @GalacticChakra @ChristopherKenn @MrTenThirty @JasonNilsson @addri @GinnaL13 @VeronicaArtino @TomasVasquez
I'm Ashamed of My Hometown
San Diego, get your shit together. Each year at the Padres stadium, Petco Park, the LGBT society in SD holds an event called "Out at the Park" that is meant to bring the community together for an evening of baseball. This year, Petco Park really, really screwed up. The San Diego Men's Gay Chorus was meant to sing the national anthem before the game to represent the LGBT community for this event. Their voices were never heard. The stadium let them take the field, and then as they were about to sing, a recorded female voice instead sang the anthem (which, if you've been to a Padres game, isn't something that happens - we always have live singing) The men had to walk off the field hearing people shouting profane, homophobic things at them. The Padres said it was a mistake, a technical error, a third party contractor, and that they were sorry. But that doesn't explain the other examples of mistreatment. Days prior to the game, the Padres organization told the performers that the chorus would have to pay for their tickets in order to sing. This is not something that happens, ever. If you perform the national anthem, you get to enter the park for free, DUH. Why did the Padres suddenly want this now? That would have cost the small organization thousands of dollars, and after dispute they were finally allowed in as performers. You can listen to their great voices here when they performed in 2015. It's a pity their voices weren't heard this year. Get it together Padres, you're a disappointment in baseball but don't be a disappointment to your entire community.

5 Precautions You Must Take Before Installing Solar Panels
Deciding to install solar panels on your roof is significant. Solar power is an excellent method to reduce your electricity costs and positively impact the environment, but there are several things you should know before switching to solar. The five key steps you should take before installing solar panels for home will be covered in this blog. By the end, you'll be fully informed about what to anticipate and how to get ready for your new solar panels. Let's start now! Here are our top 5 precautions before installing solar panels. 1) Make sure the roof is in working shape It is advised to ensure that the rooftop is physically sound. These days, warranties for solar installation services can last 20 or 25 years. It will be simpler to take care of any necessary renovations to your roof now rather than later when the panels are installed. In addition, your panels won't need to be disconnected during the roof refurbishment and reinstalled, saving you time and money. 2) Make sure you have enough roof space for the panels to sit on Is there enough room on your roof for installing solar panels? Typically,  80 square feet are needed to install 1kW of solar. Instead of a level roof, the optimal one for solar panels should have a sloping angle of 30 to 40 degrees. Thus the ideal option for solar panels is a sloping roof, but flat rooftops are just as fair. It is not suggested to install solar panels on clay or slate roofs since they tend to collapse. It would be best if you took extra precautions when you have a clay or slate roof. 3) Ensure that the property isn’t in a flood zone  Building resilience and reducing the danger of damage from floods are the top priorities for solar providers. Floods will destroy an electrical grid, but solar energy offers novel solutions to these problems. Compared to conventional power grid solutions, solar systems feature advantageous positioning and stacking options. By mounting solar panels on rooftops, you can prevent flood damage and keep the panels out of harm's way. Your solar panels will continue to power your house and business operations if catastrophic floods don't reach rooftops or corrode wire systems. A solar system's electrical wiring may suffer if the inverter is flooded. To avoid flood damage, high-quality solar panels include protective glass casings, vacuum-sealed rear panels, and sturdy metal frames. Additionally, depending on your location and environment, mounting and racking offer flexibility created for quality and sustainability. To prevent loss on your investment, it is advised to examine whether or not your property is located in a flood zone.  4) Check if your property has enough sun exposure Your roof may not have a good enough "solar window" to make the expense of panels worthwhile if it is shaded for most of each day all year. Ideally, the area earmarked for solar installation should be shadow free from 9 am to 3 pm on any given day. Major obstacles that cast shadows can be trees & vegetation, water tanks, a nearby building, parapet walls, etc. Ensuring a shadow-free area is critical for the optimum generation of power from your solar panel installation.  5) Find out your state’s net metering rules A single bidirectional meter called net metering needs to be connected to regulate the supply and import of electricity from the grid Net meter ensures you can get credited for the energy you export. The rules for net meters can vary from DISCOM.  Conclusion: Freyr Energy ensures that all points above are taken care of. You can evaluate your system size requirement with our SunPro+ app, and our team will evaluate the site and suggest an ideal location for solar panel installation. Our team helps you with liasoning and documentation for net metering. We also help you breeze through approvals and analyse subsidies available to find the best fit for you.
The 5 Strangest Superstition in Sports!
Hello sports fans! It's Friday the 13th! Here are some of the strangest superstitions in sports! Michael Jordan Michael always wore his UNC shorts under his NBA shorts. Thus, he wore longer shorts than his fellow players at that time. In the end however, his fellow players followed suit after the legend. Serena Williams Serena Williams is known for not changing socks once during a tournament. It sucks to wear a pair of socks for more than a day...imagine how it would feel to wear the same socks for an entire tournament! I guess Serena doesn't mind it considering the number of tournaments she has won. Brian Ulracher Brian Ulracher ate two chocolate chip cookies before every game. Maybe that was the secret to his muscular body. I think it'd be fair to call him the "Cookie Monster". Caron Butler Caron Butler was known to be an avid fan of Mountain Dew. He loved the drink so much that he drank before and during every game. During his UNC days, he asked his wife to pick him a 2-L bottle of the green stuff, and drank half of it before the game, and the rest during half-time. In 2007, the Wizards and NBA banned him from drinking it during games so he eventually quit the whole thing in 2009. Moises Alou This one has to be the most f*cked up one out of all of them. Moises Alou used to pee on his own hands to harden them! Should we see that as commitment to the game of baseball or just some pretty weird ass shit? Oh and by the way, don't try to harden your hands by peeing on them ladies and gentlemen, because doctors have confirmed that peeing on your hand doesn't harden them. It actually softens them. @jeff4122 @ButterflyBlu @superiorsl @Starbell808 @DonnaMelton @InPlainSight @jokes @BEAUTYgirlARIEL @David19Flo23 @karencorchado @salahabdalla @Moose892 @BrookieyElba @SamuelRodriguez @ValerieAlissaPa @xitlalicordova1 @AndrewMaldonado @Jovi @Shippudenguy21 @AbdulrahmanSaad @trinityarcangel @thefeels @Link4TW @ChriSingularis @sanazsanaz @WilliamBrown @DannyMoses @ClaySharko @Ravenwing92 @FromBlue2U @TravisBeck @LemissaNicole @BossDominata @gatorchick96 @MatthewBoughton @MarcusJiles @BrandonMcNeil @MalikLawary @KyleBerke @manbungo2000 @DerekGumtow @havic @Straightshooter @PhilAnthony @Kirooken @yaakattackk @RodneyYoung @DreJones @JonathanKerns @bnzattoni @TravisManning @GalacticChakra @smothgreen @afxs @johnnolastname @ChristopherKenn @ChasePage @coreywriley91@MikeWolf @MrTenThirty @JasonNilsson @BrunoDutch @SherzTYC @krishntejanand @addri @ChrisStephens What was your favorite one from the list?
