The San Diego Padres did not make it to the playoffs this year (no surprise).

So, they had all the time in the world and decided to transform their home stadium, Petco Park, into a 9-hole golf course.

The 1,002 yard course features nine par-3 holes and golfers can play $50 per round.

As you can see from the picture above, the first hole starts at home plate and some of the holes are played in the stands!
Here are some pictures of the golf course for y'all to enjoy!

This is actually the coolest thing I've seen this week!

Maybe the Padres should do this every year, because....well....they're not going to make it to the playoffs any time soon!

@mchlyang lol I just flat out Suck at golf. My brothers all play. Mom used to. One of my brothers even played on a team in high school. I go with them on occasion, but no matter how hard I try, I suck. I'm a great putter. Other than that, Horrid. I'd still go here just for the experience, though!! ^.^
