This DIY project is absolutely perfect for decorating a kid's room (I would also LOVE to decorate my room with this project). This DIY tutorial comes from the creative people at The Yewman Projects - Blogs, Dogs, Frogs & Books.
For this project, you will need:
-- Wooden letter
-- Old comic books
-- Mod Podge
-- Sponge brush
-- Clear sealant spray (optional)
You can find these items at a craft store.
Cut out comics
Use the scissors to cut out strips of comics from the old comic books.
Put the comic pieces on the wooden letter
Use the sponge brush and the Mod Podge to paint under and over the pieces of comic book. Let the Mod Podge completely dry after you have placed the pieces of the comic book on the wooden letter. If you want to protect the wooden letter even more, spray a layer of sealant spray over the comic-covered wooden letter.
Hang up in a room and enjoy!
