Sunday was full of action packed games, but the week isn't over, as Monday Night Football is on the way!
Tonight we have a gem on deck as the Chicago Bears take on the San Diego Chargers. Both teams need a win in the worst way, as injuries have plagued both rosters in the early part of the season. On the fence and worried you will choose the wrong team in your fantasy football survivor pools? Have no fear, as I will shoot you details on both teams and tell you who I think will come out on top!
Chicago is in the midst of rebuilding their franchise on the defensive side of the ball, but on offense they have a bevy of talented players that can put up points.
Despite the harsh remarks from critics, Jay Cutler is having a solid season for the bears. The team has been without their #1 pick at wide out Kevin White all year and Alshon Jeffrey just got back in the lineup. With that being said, Chicago has scored a decent amount of points each week out. Tonight they will be without all-pro running back Matt Forte who is out with a knee injury.
While the record may not show it, San Diego is heading in the right direction. They have a solid running game with rookie Melvin Gordon and an improving young defense. Sadly they just lost Keenan Allen to injury as well.
Their are a lot of missing pieces in the game tonight, but the Chargers have enough on deck to win this game against the Bears.
Who do you have winning the game tonight?
As a bears fan, it's always hard to pick against them, but tonight I have to pick the Chargers. Despite the loss of Keenan Allen they still have enough talent on the offense to shred the struggling and at times seemingly non-existent bears secondary. Philip Rivers continues to play at a high level, and their biggest advantage is their depth in the backfield. Matt Forte is an irreplaceable piece in the bears offense that can't be replaced by a relatively green guy like Jeremy Langford.
@KyleBerke @MrTenThirty Bear down! Right?
want the bears to win only because Langford get his chance to show what he's got (MSU fan), but doubt it.
