This "teach your kids how to code" is getting momentum in the US (books, events, investments, collaborations, ...). Certainly technology has enabled this to some extent(I have seen fantastic research going on at MIT since 5 years ago). And someone might have thought that there should be more American employees who can write real code. By the way this will fly high in Korea anytime soon. Something that appeals to industries, the government and student moms in Korea altogether? It's a mega hit.
