Korean Alphabet Series: ㅅ
[Regularly, the Korean Alphabet is organized in 한글, or hangul. But in this case, I'm going through them by the order on the keyboard. Also, if I make a mistake, don't be afraid to comment! Before you 'report' this card: don't worry--I know the alphabet series isn't K-Pop related but it'll soon be. I'm still going over the alphabet :)]
So today's key is the "t" key, or ㅅ.
Apparently, in Korea, you can use this to make various types of faces, kinda like emoticon/emoji/kaomoji, but Korean-style. Isn't that cute? (It also makes you very speeeshaaaal because you're the only one using these faces while the rest of your friends use those boring old :) or :( or whatever. Ain't that cool?)
So, as it says in the picture, this letter has the "S" sound. Like the s in "saranghae, oppa". And this letter also has a double "s" sound, believe it or not! (Don't worry, this is the last double key in this series).
If you want to make a sound that is a harder, stiffer-sounding "s", then you just do Shift+T=ㅆ. Easy as pie!
(Dahyun's Eagle dance)
(daen-seu). Dance. That's why Dahyun is dancing up there~
대 (So-nyeo Si-dae). Girls' Generation!
방탄년단 (Bangtan Sonyeondan). BTS!
다 (sseu-da). To write
Anyway, I think that's enough for today! 안녕!
