This project is a super cute and chic way to add some fall flair to your home or apartment. One of the best part about this project is that it's made from leaves that you can find outside that are completely free. This DIY tutorial comes from the creative people at Just A Girl Blog.
For this project, you will need:
-- Dry fall leaves
-- Mod Podge
-- Foam brush
-- Large wood board
-- Permanent marker or pencil
You can find the majority of these items at a craft store.
Draw a leaf on the wood
Use the permanent marker or pencil to draw a leaf outline on the large wood board. If you aren't too confident with your drawing abilities, I suggest using the pencil first and then going over that with the permanent marker.
Attach the leaves to the wood
Use the foam brush to paint Mod Podge onto the back of the leaves and then put them on the wood board. Then, use something very heavy (like a power drill, as shown in this picture) to keep the leaves flat while the Mod Podge dries. Allow the Mod Podge to dry completely before putting the artwork up.
Put up the leaf artwork in your living space and enjoy!
