(Yes. I just used that picture because I love Jeremy Lin)
The Hornets topped the Knicks 95-93 last night.
Jeremy Lin did his thang scoring 17 points and the game was pretty intense. But the Knicks had one more chance to turn the game around.
With six-tenths of a second left in the game, the Knicks had the ball. But their star player, Carmelo Anthony was guarded by two defenders. So who did they decide to trust with the winning shot?
Kristaps Porzingis, the Knicks 7-foot-3 Latvian rookie.
And this is what happened.
I guess you can blame it on Porzingis' long fingers. But what a play! WHAT A PLAY! It's a shame that they nullified one of the most amazing buzzer beaters of all time, especially from a 7-foot-3 rookie!
But wait a minute.
Does the shot clock light usually come on before 0.0?
What do my basketball fans think about this one?
1. Yes, the Knicks should have won.
2. No, the officials were right on point.
