Rebel Wilson has officially cracked under media's pressure to apologize to the Kardashians. It took her exactly one week to fall to her demise and it shows just how powerful the Kardashian family truly is. She's following the lead of the hundreds of celebrities who threw shade at the reality stars and faced an incomprehensible amount of hate thrown back their way.
Most recently, Amy Schumer had thrown Khlo茅 Kardashian under the bus about her recent weight loss but quickly apologized via Twitter. Wilson's apology comes after reports hit the news stands that she refused to present an award at the MTV Music Video Awards with Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
"What they stand for is totally against what I stand for. They seem a bit superficial and their careers aren't really based on talent, Wilson said. "I mean how Kim Kardashian got famous from the sex tape and I just went to acting school and worked really hard."
Now Wilson is facing the backlash and she can't deal with it anymore.
In a series of tweets, Wilson apologized, "I'd be very happy to debate the Kardashians anywhere / anytime / any topic," later adding, "Or maybe their publicist can just stop the smear campaign against me because I made one prompted comment about them on Australian radio?"
Though it's an impeccably petty apology, Wilson did send them flowers.
"In any event, I'm MORE than over this little thing and wish the K clan well X even sent them flowers 馃尫馃尲馃尮," Wilson tweeted.

How Wilson felt when the media raged war upon her comments.

When Wilson stated her very candid opinion that went viral. She still doesn't necessarily take back what she said.

When Wilson realized that she wasn't going to win this one. She didn't stand her ground.

The aftermath.

Should Wilson have apologized?

the Kardashians are pieces of shit who don't deserve fame. Oh no. now I'm gonna have rich sluts get mad at me.
Absolutely not. She isnt the only one who thinks that way and she didnt smear their name that's just her opinion. Those pompous wind bags need to take a chill pill and get over themselves... smdh
I don't think anyone should have to apologize for speaking the truth. If it bothers people, then that's their problem. It's a free country, and if people can't take a few blows in the process of their careers then screw 'em. They aren't any better than anyone else. Problem with all this stardom whiplash is people are far too sensitive and not honest enough. That's just "my" opinion. I honestly can't stand people that get all uptight when another person says something about them. If you were a true go-getter you'd wipe that shit-talk (Excuse my language xD) off your shoulder and move along like it never existed. That's a powerful statement.
America is synonymous with the word "offended". It was just a comment, honestly, how much shit-talking do you think the kardashians themselves get away with
I honestly don't feel it was trash talk. Like I said, it's a free country. People are going to say what they want, whether there is truth behind it or not. I'm not looking for role models in celebrities. I'm looking for them to do their jobs in front of the camera for entertainment purposes. Who they are as a person really doesn't concern me. That goes for trash talk, porn, personal family issues or whatever problems they may have. I never liked the fact people were too concerned about other people's personal lives. Again, this is just my Opinion. I don't speak for anyone else.
