It's the ageless candy at every family function and somehow always ends up on your grandma's counter around the holidays. It's a typical yellow, orange, and white candy in the shape of a triangle. It has round edges and has a very sweet yet chalky taste that has a somewhat nutty flavor. You don't really like candy corn but it's there so you subconsciously will pick up one or two pieces of it to remind your taste buds of the holiday.
However you're constantly wondering, why is it called candy CORN!?!?!
Well, let me tell you. As I was scrolling along my newsfeed, I came across the most shocking discovery. It's something so bizarrely obvious that I felt like a complete idiot for not recognizing this my entire life. This was definitely one of those aha! moments and everything now makes sense in the world. What you're about to scroll down and see may be shocking but I promise that you'll feel instantly better after you get over the fact that you've been living in oblivion for all of these years.
