Puerto Rican Turkey Stuffing is ALL Meat, Baby!
When you grow up with the same traditions, it's easy to not really think about the things that might be considered "off" or "not normal" to other cultures. Growing up, and even today, my family makes turkey for Thanksgiving with a special stuffing. But isn't the the typical kind of stuffing that's made of bread and vegetables.
For us, we use meat. Yes...meat for a turkey stuffing. Specifically, my family uses ground beef.
We sure do love our meats.
And it's amazing, and awesome, and better than bread.

What You'll Need:

3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1½ lbs. ground beef
½ cup chopped onion
1 teaspoonful alcaparras/capers
8 stuffed Spanish olives
1 tablespoon salt
1 can (7 oz.) roasted red peppers (chopped) with its juice

How To Make It:

1) Heat oil in a large pot and add the ingredients.
2) Cook on medium high until meat is cooked. Then continue to cook over medium heat for about 15 more minutes.
3) Cool completely before stuffing the turkey.
