French Montana Urges Others to Not Blame Muslims For Paris Attacks
The horrifying events that took place in Paris, France last Friday, Nov. 13 have shaken the world to its core
ISIS, the terrorist group who has claimed responsibility for the 129 deaths, is based in Iraq and Syria and its members believe in Islam and claim religious, political and military authority over all Muslims worldwide.
French Montana, who is Muslim, was stopped by TMZ cameras when he was leaving the club over the weekend and said not to blame the attacks on the entire Muslim population but on “crazy people.”
When the cameraman asked French “what do you say to people who will blame the attacks on Muslims?” The rapper responded, “As-salamu alaykam,” a Muslim greeting that translates to “Peace be with you.”
French Montana brings up a great point. Are we pointing the blame at the wrong people in regards to these attacks?
