ISIS is Not Where You Expect
With the news that France is bombing Syria, I was curious about what area, and where the terrorist are located.
I think we assume that ISIS is in one place, in the Middle East only. But we forget that ISIS is linked to a set of ideals, ideals that (if targeting on the right people) they can instill in people around the world. These people can then carry out their own attacks.

Paris is just one example. Here are some others:

Native Australian @InPlainSight (and co-president of vingle) also showed me an interesting news story that happened in Australia, somewhere you would not expect ISIS to be. A native Australian (15-years-old) shot and killed a police officer which has been suggested was "politically motivated violence" linked to the same political ideals and violence as ISIS.
Belgium also seems to have a hub of ISIS, with ties of the Paris attacks to the city Molenbeek, a city actually regularly linked to jihadi violence and plotting.
The army exists in the Middle East, but they have soldiers all over there world.

And that's what's so frightening about ISIS to me.

While I don't disagree or agree with France's actions, I'm interested to see how they can attack this group from all ends.

Because this isn't a location-specific problem. It's global now.

Its an ideology, you can never remove it completely. Attack and they will disappear into population to rebuild. You will always have people who want an excuse to hurt or kill. For the rest it requires education And opportunity. History shows us these movements come areas with no money, no prospects and low education. There also must be a movement against cognitive biased. Only hearing messages of hate, seeing violence done to those identify with, breeds violence. It will take end of religion and racism. Though education shows help both.

I heard there are members even in Asia (ex. Korea). An actual Korean high school student joined ISIS a few months ago and it's been confirmed that he was killed a few weeks ago.....the world is becoming a scary place
