Derrick Rose will have blurry vision for up to three months!
Derrick Rose suffered a left orbital fracture during the Bulls' first training camp practice. And Rose hasn't been on top of his game. He only averaged 12.6 points per game which is almost down eight points from his career average.
This could be due to him having double vision.
Rose admitted that he has had problems with double vision since his surgery on September 30th.
Doctors have also confirmed that this could potentially last up to three months.
On this three-month timeline, Rose said,
"This is my first time hearing about it. But you kind of have that hope in your mind that it gets well a lot quicker. But for this to be seven or eight [weeks] out and still the same way, I can't do nothing but live with it. Get the most out of every day, keep putting my deposits in and keep working on my game until my eye gets better."
He even added that he was playing with one eye closed during the first game of the season, but it has been progressively getting better.
So basketball fans, with D. Rose consistently getting hurt...
Do you think he has a chance to make it back and become the next Michael Jordan that he was once projected to become?
