Korean Alphabet Series: ใ…‘
[Regularly, the Korean Alphabet is organized in ํ•œ๊ธ€, or hangul. But in this case, I'm going through them by the order on the keyboard. Also, if I make a mistake, don't be afraid to comment! Before you 'report' this card: don't worry--I know the alphabet series isn't K-Pop related but it'll soon be. I'm still going over the alphabet :)]
I'm back to present some more Korean alphabets! It's been a week since the last upload...I'm terribly sorry for the followers who were expecting one right after.
Today's letter is on the "i" key, and it'sใ…‘.
It's pronounced like "ya", kind of like the ya "yaaaaas". But in Korean, if you've watched a lot of K-Dramas, it's heard in the mini-phrase "ya", like "hey, ___" when you're calling someone's name. In case you want to know what that looks like, it's "์•ผ!".
As of now, I can't think of any way to remember this, but I think the best way to remember it is that your oppas will call you with this interestingly-shaped letter when they want you... in our dreams, at least.
Examples!
์•ผ๊ตฌ (ya-gu): means baseball!
์•ผํ›„ (ya-hu): Yahoo.
์•ผ~ (yaa-): hey!
I can't think of any more right now, but if you know any, leave a comment!
Hang tight for the next alphabet!
