DIY comic book magnets
Don't let boring magnets into your life — add some flair to your refrigerator organization with these awesome superhero magnets! This DIY tutorial comes from the wonderfully creative people at Crafts By Amanda.

Materials

For this project, you will need:
-- Old comic books (or you can print out superhero pages online)
-- Scissors
-- Pen or pencil
-- Magnets
-- Mod Podge
-- Paintbrush
You can find the majority of these items at a craft store.

Trace around the acrylic shapes

Lay the acrylic shapes on the comic book. Then, use the pen to trace around the acrylic shapes. Cut out a large square around the traced section to make it easier to cut more detailed lines.

Cut around the shape

Use the scissors to cut around the pen marks that you traced. Cut it a little inside of the line so that the shapes will fit over it perfectly and there will be no paper sticking out on the outside of the shape.

Glue on the acrylic shape

Paint a layer of Mod Podge on the front of the comic book piece of paper. Then, place the acrylic shape on the top of the comic book paper. Press firmly on the paper so that there are no air bubbles. Once that is dried, place a little bit of Mod Podge on the back on the magnet and then push it on the back of the magnet.

Place your superhero magnets on a fridge and enjoy!
