Well, sort of. His award-winning ultra premium Casamigos Tequila is the perfect way to sneak in a Hollywood A-lister to your wedding! Whether it's for the big day or any number of the wedding season events, you will need a cocktail floating around. Why not choose an easy standby: the Margarita. Everyone loves a good margarita. I know I do. It's also a great drink to riff on--everyone seems to like it a different way and in new and innovative methods to getting your tequila on the inside of your body.
If you're not sure about the numerous varieties of recipes for margaritas, I've included a good list for you by clicking here. If that's too much work, then keep reading for my personal favorite, which is a Cadillac style, with ice--not slush--and floating Grand Marnier! It's divine!
To make your cocktails incredible, then you need to consider the glassware. You can go traditional and use what your hotel or venue offers, or you can rent something. If you're in the Southern California area, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND looking at what Otis+Pearl have to offer. I wrote a card about it here. FABULOUS!!!!!!
Once you have some chic glassware, it's all about the styling. Expert stylist, Rachel Mae, created this cocktail styling for a recent LA pop-up shop, Reservoir LA in Beverly Hills. She combined Casamigos Tequila with vintage glassware and garnished the summertime beverage with wintry elements such as blood orange and rosemary, and red grapes and sage! Fabulous ideas! Also, these are easy, simple things that you can do too!
1 1/2 oz tequila
1 oz Grand Marnier orange liqueur
1/4 oz fresh lime juice
Add tequila and lime juice to a shaker full of ice. Shake it crazy style!
Strain into a chilled glass of whole cube ice--NOT SLUSH!
Add the floating Grand Marnier on top.
Garnish with salted lime wedges.
*Despite what you see in the picture (and all over Google images), DO NOT RIM THE GLASS! Thank you! :)
