It's almost Christmas season, and I couldn't be more excited! This DIY project takes something that is incredibly cheap — spoons — and turns it into something so cute! This DIY tutorial comes from the wonderful people at One Project Closer.
-- Plastic spoons
-- Hot-glue gun and glue sticks
-- Spray paint
-- Paper Mache tree form
You can find all of these items at a craft store.
Cut off the spoon handles
Use the scissors to cut off all of the spoon handles.
Paint the spoons
Take the spray paint and paint all of the spoons. You might need to do a couple of coats of paint to make the paint completely opaque. Let the coats of paint dry completely.
Glue the spoons on the tree form
Use the hot-glue gun and glue sticks to glue the spoons to the tree form. Glue them in rows all the way to the top. Let the glue dry completely. Use caution when using a hot-glue gun!
Set out your Christmas spoon tree and enjoy its beauty!
