Barcelona ended up winning 6-1. Although I'm not a Barcelona fan, I'm pretty sure my soccer fans would agree that Barcelona is the best team in the world right now.

Soccer fans, what is your favorite goal from that game?

@InPlainSight Yeap. That was definitely my favorite goal of the game. It shows the beautiful passing game of soccer perfectly!
@mchlyang Yes, yes it can
And hopefully beating AS Roma can be called an achievement? ;)

I'm Ashamed of My Hometown
San Diego, get your shit together. Each year at the Padres stadium, Petco Park, the LGBT society in SD holds an event called "Out at the Park" that is meant to bring the community together for an evening of baseball. This year, Petco Park really, really screwed up. The San Diego Men's Gay Chorus was meant to sing the national anthem before the game to represent the LGBT community for this event. Their voices were never heard. The stadium let them take the field, and then as they were about to sing, a recorded female voice instead sang the anthem (which, if you've been to a Padres game, isn't something that happens - we always have live singing) The men had to walk off the field hearing people shouting profane, homophobic things at them. The Padres said it was a mistake, a technical error, a third party contractor, and that they were sorry. But that doesn't explain the other examples of mistreatment. Days prior to the game, the Padres organization told the performers that the chorus would have to pay for their tickets in order to sing. This is not something that happens, ever. If you perform the national anthem, you get to enter the park for free, DUH. Why did the Padres suddenly want this now? That would have cost the small organization thousands of dollars, and after dispute they were finally allowed in as performers. You can listen to their great voices here when they performed in 2015. It's a pity their voices weren't heard this year. Get it together Padres, you're a disappointment in baseball but don't be a disappointment to your entire community.
Why Men Can't Buy the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team Jerseys
It is official. It is irrefutable. The U.S. women's national soccer team is the best in the world. So it would be natural for Americans, I mean all Americans, to support their women's national team by wearing their jerseys right? And that's especially true in the world of soccer, because soccer is all about pageantry. What you wear is critical to show true support for your team. And Nike, which is the official sponsor of both the Men's and Women's national soccer team, took in pre-orders just prior to the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup. But shortly after the pre-orders were sold out, Nike had to cancel all the orders. Why? The answer lies behind the two stars you see above the crest. These stars represent the number of World Cups that the U.S. women's national team has won (1991, 1995). Now after winning the 2015 World Cup, another star was added to their jerseys. But of course, the men's national soccer team does not have any stars above the crest, because well... they haven't won a World Cup yet. So, Nike decided to cancel the orders for the men's version of the women's national soccer team jerseys because it could give the false impression that the men's team have won those World Cups. What is this nonsense? What should the men and boys, who made up 61% of the 13.5 million viewers that tuned in for the 2011 World Cup finals do? It is such a shame that we still face gender inequality issues and it extends beyond the field. It even applies to fans and their freedom and passion to support their own team. A male fan should be able to wear an Alex Morgan uniform or Abby Wambach's uniform. And who cares if the women's national team won three World Cups and the men's national team hasn't won any? In the end, playing like a girl means you're a badass. What do my sports fans think about this issue?
