Korean 101: Christmas in Seoul
There is a department store in the center of Seoul called 신세계 (Shin-sae-gye) which means "New World."
It decorates like crazy for Christmas so I'm going to use some pictures as inspiration for a few Learn Korean words today :D

Christmas decorations: 크리스마스의 장식 (keu-ri-seu-ma-seu jang-shik)

Christmas stocking:

크리스마스 양말 (keu-ri-seu-ma-seu yang-mal)

Christmas tree:

크리스마스 트리 (keu-ri-seu-ma-seu teu-ri)

Pretty:

예쁘다 (ye-ppeu-da)

Beautiful:

아름답다 (a-reum-dap-da)

Cool!:

신기하다 (shin-ki-ha-da)

Do you guys have places with cool decorations (장식) near you?!

Forgive me for asking ... but I thought tree in Korean was 나무 - as in 크릿스마스 나무 ... please help my understanding. Thank you :)

@robertakm64 you're right! tree in korean is 나무 but because they are just translating from an english word, they say 트리^^ It's like how technically book is 책 but when they say book cafe they say 북 카페 :) Does that makes sense?

Yes it does - I kinda figured that was the case ... I just wanted to make sure. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. I really appreciate you for teaching me. You're the best! :)
