First was my anatomical heart I got last November after I was released from the hospital following having 2 open heart surgeries to replace a dysfunctional valve.
which both symbolizes me and means more to me than I can put into words; Vincent van Gogh wrote this ( in German, of course ) to his brother Theo when he was living in his yellow house. He was pursuing his dream of becoming a painter though he had tried to do many things in life beforehand. In his entire life, Vincent sold ONE painting. His soul is one of the most pure I've ever known. Since I got the pleasure of learning so much more about him through my Art History course, he has become an overall theme in my life. I was so excited and so honored to get his words permanently etched into my flesh. I plan on getting another commemorative tattoo in his honor, one to show my appreciation for him and for my niece and nephews. His sunflower works and almond branches have always left me awestruck, so I plan on working one or the other into a chest piece down the road.
IF YOU HAVE ANY TATTOOS, TAG ME IN YOUR TATTOO CARD!
I want to see all of the beautiful work and the inspiration behind it.
