DIY spoon candle holder
Okay, I am obsessed with this DIY project because it takes something so cheap — plastic spoons — and changing it into a cute and chic candle holder. This DIY tutorial comes from the wonderful people at Pop Sugar.

Materials

For this project, you will need:
-- Plastic spoons
-- Hot-glue gun and glue sticks
-- Small candle holder
-- Scissors
-- Paint (optional)
You can find the majority of these objects at a craft store.

Cut the handles off the spoons

Use the scissors to cut the handles off all of the spoons. If you want to add some color to your candle holder, spray a few coats of paint on your spoons. Let the paint completely dry in between and after each coat of paint.

Attach the spoons to the candle holder

Use the hot-glue gun and glue sticks to attach the spoons to the candle holder. Start from the stop and work your way to the bottom of the candle holder, as shown in the picture above. This will make it look like your candle holder is blooming.

Add a tea light inside and enjoy your blooming candle!
