Get Excited for Fall with these Super 70's Fall Ad Campaigns
Whether you can afford to shop designer or only dream of a luxury shopping spree, high-fashion ad campaigns serve as serious style inspiration from the pages of September issues everywhere to free floating images on the internet. While the 70's are in full force this fall, these ad campaigns worked retro vibes into their creative direction, and are a serious throwback to peel through.

Gucci's fall 2015 ad campaign featuring new creative director Alessandro Michele's first collection for the brand is promising and as exciting as it is retro. From tied-necks to longer-length dresses, the ads are definitely a flashback to the 70's, imported into the contemporary moment. Miu Miu took to the city streets for a pseudo-candid campaign this fall that looked like a serious throwback. Steven Meisel shot the campaign on the streets of New York, featuring young and largely unknown actresses in funky retrowear. Anja Rubik and Julia Stegner took the Chloe aesthetic to a dreamy 70's haze at Versailles for the fall 2015 ad campaign. The long skirts, patchwork, and hanging neckties gave us some serious 70's fall inspiration, all topped off with retro aviators. While the shots for Dior's fall 2015 ad campaign might not be the most retro on the gorgeous cliffs of Granville in Normandy, the clothes are enough of a throwback alone. If you're ready to work some seriously preppy 70's style, look to these pointy collars for inspiration, pull your hair half-up, and leave it there for the fall. Lara Stone went beyond retro for H&M's fall campaign, posing with vintage cars in the suburbs, wearing flared jeans and turtlenecks to show how the average woman can go 70's without blowing her whole paycheck this season.
