Looking to Start a Cover Group!

I'm aiming to band together with nine other individuals who want to make a cover group. I've mentioned this in my appreciation card for J.R. from Nu'EST. This card is to go into more detail about what I would like to do.

What am I looking for?

I have an account on Smule's Sing! app and there are a few cover groups on there. This isn't the first time I've wanted to do something like this, but that app has really given me ideas for really making this happen. Dancers. Rappers. Singers. Cutie pies. I want you all to make this happen. What I imagine is us doing profiles for each members, like with the K-Celebs. You know, with birthdate, blood type, likes, dislikes, random facts. We don't have to disclose anything you don't want to though, so don't worry. We will come up with a group name together and I'm looking for no more than nine other members but exceptions may be made. ^^

How will we do covers?

We can make a YouTube channel that the members will all have access to and upload different things there. Maybe we can take requests to sing or dance certain songs and other videos for people to just get to know us. For those that particularly want to sing or rap, I honestly suggest also getting the Sing! app. You can do karaoke and open mic so we can be as creative as we want. The app is free and I intend to be the one keeping a VIP account so no one else in the group has to, but anyone else that wants to is welcome to do so as well. You get a little more privileges as a VIP but I know that not everyone wants to pay or whatever the circumstances may be. ^^;
Now, we don't have to do all K-Pop songs. If there's a song in English, Chinese, Japanese, or any other language that you'd like to do, that's perfectly fine! If we have another member or members that can sing with you, go for it! This group is to showcase our talents and to have constant contact with someone that you can create something with. Also, to make friends and have someone that you can just talk to and relate with whenever you like. Oh, and I'm not looking to make this all girls or all guys either. It can be and combination of however many. ^^
If anyone would like to be something like a manager for the group or an editor for our videos or even album art, I'd like to know, too! If you have a Line, KakaoTalk, Kik, or anything like that and you want to join, it would be really helpful so that we can have group chats and communicate and such that way. Also, if you guys have any ideas for how to do this, make it more fun and interesting, I'm all ears! Please, help me make this happen, guys! ♡

@Danse at least I'm not alone in the no singing talent group!
@LenaBlackRose I'm also part of of the no singing talent club. I was actually part of a dancing group that also did singing for the local renfest. I swear I got that gig because instrumentally wise I'm a good musician and they thought musician= singer. Also had to dance decently to even be considered for an audition as a musician. It's not all about skill level, personality is also a big part. If you have fun then most people will ignore singing a tad bit off key!
@Danse Lol I usually do it to bother my siblings!! I wish I could sing 😢 on a better note my brother says I sound better with Korean songs.. (I think it's cause they sound cooler than English songs)
@LenaBlackRose Lol I reserve my screeching for the shower and while driving. 😂 *high five* We still rock though.
Can I join? I can kind of rap. I'm good at rapping in English and kind of good in Korean. I'm good at singing in both, but not as god with Korean with English. And no way in ever can I dance. But I try to.

Want To Write A Song? Here's How!
Musicians are strange creatures, cursed with melodies spinning around in their heads constantly. It's hard to recognize what words are brilliant lyrics, or just fleeting thoughts. The mind of a musician is a jumbled mess, with little bits and pieces of melodies and broken love songs constantly dragging behind them. My newest effort premieres at the end of this post! So stay tuned if you want to learn how to write music, and where these tips can get you. This card was inspired by @buddyesd and our conversations about music and songwriting over the past few days. 1. The first step is to know your music! Videos: Some of my favorites. I've been a musician my whole life. I started singing in my terrible two's and ended up getting a guitar at age 11 and starting my first rock band at 12. My life has always centered on what band I was obsessed with at the time. It all started with Green Day... Then the Ramones... Then My Chemical Romance... Thirty Seconds To Mars... The Sex Pistols... The Libertines... Neil Young, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Pete Doherty and on and on. And so on and so fourth. The point I'm trying to make here, is that you have to go through a lot of music to gain the inspiration and the fortitude to start making your own. Influences are a huge part of songwriting. They help you form what kind of identity you want as an artist. 2. Know that the perfect song won't come overnight. Your development takes time! (Video 1: One of the first songs I ever wrote (2009) "The Way You Talk" / tried and true pop-punk) (Video 2: A later rock song, 2014 "Tourist" a little more sophisticated, deeper lyrics, more passion, messy garage-rock feel) I didn't wake up and just know how to play the guitar and write songs, it took time. I sat in my room for hours on end, plucking away, humming, writing down and recording things and ultimately a lot of the stuff I wrote early on was complete shit. It just now, feels like I'm writing really meaningful stuff. So, just give yourself some time, and know that every musician goes through an evolution at every level. I started out writing simple, three chord punk songs in the vein of Green Day, my favorite band. That slowly evolved into more anthemic and stadium-like tunes when I started getting into bands like The Rolling Stones, U2 and so fourth... Now I've evolved into this heart-wrenching raw, indie influenced folk-y sound that is directly linked to my love for Pete Doherty's solo album Grace / Wastelands, a collection of melancholy tracks dedicated to love and confusion. My new song, Counselor (heard here), is a haunting acoustic ballad influenced by more singer / songwriter acts since I'm solo right now. So things have to evolve with the times. 3. Do some research. You have to know where you came from in order to know where you can go. This being said, every musician's routine is different. I just like to pick up my guitar, start strumming a few chords and a melody or lyric will come, and I'll go from there. Some people sit at a keyboard and bang out a melody, Others just jam and find a chord progression they like, to start with and build a melody on top of it. If you're not that experienced, you have to do some research. Look up the greats: Lennon and McCartney, Richards and Jagger. The classics are a great way to look at song structure. Then, look up your favorite artist's songwriting routines and experiment with them, mix and match styles until you feel like you can get somewhere. Like the lead singer of Green Day, Billie Joe Armstrong writes his melodies first, lyrics later. Both come at once for me, melody and lyric, almost always. So it just depends on how your brain works, and you won't know until you try. 4. JUST GO FOR IT!!! Music isn't perfect and most of the time it isn't beautiful or polished. So if you want to start creating your own, just start doing it. Hum melodies, listen to your favorite artists, pick up an instrument and do it! If you have the passion and you want to learn, anything is possible. I'm here to help too, if you have any questions or thoughts. Do not be afraid, because you could write the next number one single in your bedroom...you never know ;)! My newest song, written and recorded on August 12th, 2015 is up on Sound Cloud now, here's the link if you're interested. See! Songwriting isn't hard! ;) "Lying To The Wind" By: Tess Stevens
Snoop Doggy Dogg
90년대 말에 그는 다시 닥터 드레와 함께 작업하였으며 그 결과 'Bitch Please', 'Still D.R.E.,' 그리고 'The Next Episode'와 같은 뛰어난 트랙을 만들어 냅니다. Drop It Like It's Hot (Feat. Pharrrel Williams) 21세기 들어서는 다수의 앨범에서 프로듀싱 팀 The Neptunes와 작업하며 메가 히트곡 'Drop It Like It's Hot' 등을 만들어내기도 하였습니다. Epic Rap Battles of History 2015년 5월, 13집 'Bush'가 발매되었고, 프로듀서는 스눕 독의 히트곡 중 하나인 'Drop It Like It's hot'을 제작했던 The Neptunes입니다.
BTS Fire and WTF Is Tropical House?
Alright y'all, we're going to talk about a topic that affects each and every one of us: TROPICAL HOUSE. It's a subgenre of house music that is influenced by instruments such as steel drums usually used in Jamaican, Cuban, etc music. It's been getting more and more popularity these days but I was still surprised to hear it in at BTS song! It is most noticeable in Rap Mon's part at 2:15. That awesome sound in the back? That's classic Tropical House music! Here are some more examples if you dig that sound: Jeremih - Don't Tell 'Em Thanks to @Lizzeh for reminding me about this awesome example!!!! Justin Bieber - Sorry & What Do You Mean Beibs made his comeback completely backed by this music. It sounds fresh, fun, and you CAN'T STOP LISTENING TO IT. Kygo - Stay Often referenced as the king of the rebirth of TropHouse, Kygo is your go-to DJ if you want nothing but Tropical House in your ears. Skrillex and Diplo - Where Are Ü Now This was the song that really brought the sound to mainstream recently. Those "dolphin sounds" or however you choose to describe it...yup, TropHouse. Fifth Harmony - Worth It & Work It's leaking into the girl group pop scene too with Fifth Harmony using an almost 8-bit take on Trop-Pop. Still groovy. Jamie XX - Loud Places And then we have Jamie XX that combines his smooth sleepy sounds from the XX with the catchy pop of Tropical House. Needless to say, it was love at first listen. Even though it has existed for a long time (and the influences that inspired existed looooooooooong before) I'm glad to hear more of it now in mainstream music! Enjoy!
X-Japan
☆ Endless Rain (The Last Live) ☆ 기본적인 구성은 트윈 기타로 기타 솔로부분을 두 기타가 나누어서 연주하며, 보통 파타가 백킹 부분을 히데가 리딩 부분을 연주하였습니다.
