How adorable are these mini-Christmas trees made from pinecones?! So freaking adorable is the answer to that question! This DIY tutorial comes from the creative people at Scissors and Spoons.
For this project, you will need:
-- Pinecones (you can get artificial ones or you can find some outside)
-- Craft paint (green and silver)
-- Hot-glue gun and glue sticks
-- Small terracotta pots
-- Aluminum stars
You can find all of these items at a craft store.
Paint the pinecones
Use the green craft paint and the paintbrush to paint the pinecones green. You may need to do a few coats to make the green really pop. Let the paint dry after each coat of paint. Paint the terracotta pots with the silver paint. Let that paint dry as well.
Assemble the Christmas trees
Take the hot-glue gun and glue the pinecones to the silver terracotta pots. Then, glue the silver stars to the top of the pinecones. Finally, sprinkle some glitter over the top of the pinecone to make the trees look like they have some snow on the tips of the branches.
Set these adorable trees out in your living space and enjoy the cuteness!
