So this was a story I wrote for @DeniseiaGardner Challenge. Hope you like it!!
I remember like it was yesterday, like we met two minutes ago. But yet, this might be our final year together. Elementary school was horrible, no one talked to me, I wasn't very popular or social. Untill met him in third grade. Kim Namjoon, my best, and only friend. "C'mon, (Y/N)! We are going to be late to the party!" Namjoon yelled. "Ugh, do I really have to go? You know how I feel socially.." I mumbled. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me alongside him, "I promise it will be fun. Plus, we just graduated from highschool. We should have fun before we go to separate colleges." That's right, after today, Namjoon will start packing and move over seas to America to study abroad, while I'll still be here, in the Seoul's college. "Okay, fine. But I'm not talking to anyone. And I'm going to act like your shadow." I crossed my arms. Namjoon laughed, "Okay, wall butterfly. Let's get going, I don't want to be late." It was one of the so called 'popular' girls that invited him. I guess she acted like I wasn't there at first, but when Namjoon mentioned me her face turned to utter disappointment. She was trying to hook up with him, thought that's what I thought by the sound of her voice. ~~~Time skip~~~ I sat as far back into the couch as I could. There were too many unfimilar faces, and weird smells. People came by, each of them trying to start a conversation with Namjoon, but I forbade him from talking to anyone. "Mina, stay here. I'll be back in like 2 minutes tops. I promise!" Namjoon said, walking towards a food table. I sunk more into the couch. Why must I follow Namjoon everywhere…?
