American finance corporation PNC Bank has been getting into the holiday spirit with the ultimate Christmas decoration - a life-size bank in Philadelphia made almost entirely out of real gingerbread.

That's over 5,000 pounds of gingerbread deliciousness!

And just wait until you look inside!

The bank commissioned twelve local bakers and pastry artists to build the bank, which features gingerbread 'exposed brick', frosting moulding, peppermint trimming, and even a fully-functioning ATM machine finished with edible gold detail.

You can watch the whole process in the video above!

Over the weekend, locals were able to get an exclusive tour of the bank, where many had the opportunity to pose for pictures with a giant gingerbread dollar bill and drink complementary hot chocolate - you know, to satisfy their craving for sweets from walking around inside a structure made of gingerbread.

So, what do you think? Are your gingerbread house-building skills any match for this bank? Would you try to take a bite out of it when no one's looking?
