According to World Bank Group, 10,540,000 kt of carbon emissions by are created by China.
5,334,000 kt by the U.S.
3,415,000 kt by the E.U.
The world creates 35,669,000 kt, and total that's 5 emissions per capita.
So what are politicians doing about it?

The Paris Climate Talks

Over 190 nations are meeting and discussing this very issue.
Over 500 problems and discussion around climate change and global warming.
Nov 30 - Dec 11
And as China and the U.S. lead in the most carbon emissions, the urgency for these nations to step up and produce results is ever-present.
A movement has started around the urgency. #EarthtoParis is used to reach out to the nations to create a large amount of awareness. Awareness that announces to the leaders THE EARTH NEEDS HELP.

How can you help?

Step 1: Educate yourself on the issues that these lawmakers are working on. I'll be doing a week of climate change here on Vingle, posting cards every day to help you understand the issue.
Step 2: Discuss these issues and assert your opinion in a respectful way. With friends, family, etc. Especially with friends here on Vingle. (comment, comment, comment!)
Step 3: Spread your education! Create your own cards around this issue.

Who's with me this week?

I may not know the answer to the question, but if we don't try we can never really know if these talks can help save the world. Let's give our world a fighting shot.

It's a heavy burden. I'm curious to see what comes from the talks.

Me too! And I'm glad it's a ton of countries working together too @ButterflyBlu it's not just like the big ones telling everyone to do. More voices is harder to manage, but more important when it comes to doing what's best (in my opinion!)

@nicolejb I agree. Plus you never know where an innovative idea will come from. Money and size doesn't make for automatic wisdom. No, we need everyone working together to come up with a global solution.

I think they're a big step in the right direction, and I agree with @ButterflyBlu, you have to know that ideas can come from anywhere. 190 countries? There's got to be some genius idea waiting in the wings.

It's probably going to come from the smallest, least-expected country too. or like a brilliant scientist who blows everyone else away. haha I'm just spitballing here but that would be a great story @ButterflyBlu @TessStevens :)
